Ixora coccinea is an evergreen shrub native to Southern India and Sri Lanka. It is commonly known as jungle geranium and is notable for its bright colored flowers composed of many small blooms massed together. Ixora coccinea can be propagated through herbaceous cuttings 10-15cm long, trimmed below a leaf and planted in a well-draining potting mix. It prefers partial sun and moist, acidic soil with high humidity levels.
