The health-aware personalized food recommender system aims to assist the users in daily diet selections based on some nutrition guidelines. The main goal of this project is to develop a food ontology and recommender system using Body Mass Index (BMI), Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), and Physical Activity Level [4]. This system will take user profile and food habit as input, and provide health information and food suggestion as output. It will use the nutrition database while processing the recommendation.
