This study investigates the mechanical and metallurgical properties of aluminum-silicon carbide (Al-SiCp) composites produced via a novel squeeze-cum-stir casting method. The research found that increasing the silicon carbide content enhances the hardness and impact strength of the composite, with the best results observed at 25% silicon carbide by weight. The findings suggest that this new casting technique can improve the properties of metal matrix composites compared to conventional methods.
