Today we initiate the 
MENTORING PROGRAM
Mentor Expected Role 
A mentor is a trusted guide who facilitates the growth of the 
mentee capabilities; enhancing the mentee effectiveness and 
capabilities. 
Product X Mentoring program will focus on how to manage 
products better, in various product challenges 
Mentors: 
1. Share experiences, insights, wisdom 
2. Act as a sounding board 
3. Support, guide and challenge 
4. Provide a reality check
Mentees Expected Contribution 
A Mentee is a individual who is looking for an guidance from an 
experienced individual in his area of expertise 
Mentees are expected to: 
1. Identify what they want to achieve from the relationship 
2. Clarify what is expected of mentor in process 
3. Set realistic goals for what can be achieved through the 
partnership 
4. Be committed to their own development 
5. Take initiative to plan the meetings and discuss learnings
Mentoring Program: Call for Action 
Product X Organization: 
1. Will provide a short training program for mentors 
2. Will provide the framework for mentors and mentees matching 
3. Will monitor the program and provide on going support 
Matched Mentors and Mentees will 
1. Jointly set goal 
2. Will meet for series of 5 – 7 meetings over a period of 6 months 
3. Maintain Business Ethics
Registration for Volunteering Mentors and 
Candidate Mentees at the Product X Booth 
Mentees Will be asked to provide Background

Product X Mentoring program will focus on how to manage products better, in various product challenges Mentors: 1. Share experiences, insights, wisdom 2. Act as a sounding board 3. Support, guide and challenge 4. Provide a reality check
  • 4. Mentees Expected Contribution A Mentee is a individual who is looking for an guidance from an experienced individual in his area of expertise Mentees are expected to: 1. Identify what they want to achieve from the relationship 2. Clarify what is expected of mentor in process 3. Set realistic goals for what can be achieved through the partnership 4. Be committed to their own development 5. Take initiative to plan the meetings and discuss learnings
  • 5. Mentoring Program: Call for Action Product X Organization: 1. Will provide a short training program for mentors 2. Will provide the framework for mentors and mentees matching 3. Will monitor the program and provide on going support Matched Mentors and Mentees will 1. Jointly set goal 2. Will meet for series of 5 – 7 meetings over a period of 6 months 3.
