Webinar 'End-to-end business monitoring @ MIVB'LoQutus
In this webinar LoQutus will give you an overview of the implemented solutions at STIB-MIVB for a better succession of the technical components of vehicles, sales equipment and devaluation machines. For this case we configured and integrated IBM Operational Decision Manager and IBM Business Monitor.
IBM Operational Decision Manager contains a CEP (Complex Event Processing) engine which is able to analyze a stream of technical events and to recognize business events using event patterns. A business event is used to determine the right business action on detection.
IBM Business Monitor is a BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) platform which is able to visualize KPI’s, dashboards, charts, drill-down analysis… based on captured business events. Personalized views support different business stakeholders with appropriate real-time business dashboards.
The installation, configuration and management of both platforms, based on real-time data feeds, introduced a number of challenges which will be discussed in this webinar.

As the nation’s original and leading retailer of storage and organization products, The Container Store considers application performance a top priority in order to deliver exceptional end-user experience. In addition to using AppDynamics Application Performance Management (APM) to manage application performance in production, The Container Store has taken it one step further by embracing it earlier in their development lifecycle for continuous testing to catch and resolve issues before customers are impacted.
Join A.J. Azzarello, The Container Store’s QA Engineer, in this session to learn how they have succeeded in making application performance a part of their development culture.

codeBeamer ALM’s latest version 9.2 brings a host of new features for enterprise users taking the Agile way of working with codeBeamer. This new release offers updated branching functionality to enable the reuse of referenced work items across branches, and to set branch permissions.
The new Story Plan feature lets you group work items to map related requirements or user stories. This way, you can visualize and manage groups of work items across releases in a single container. codeBeamer 9.2 also brings a fully updated Audit Trail Report functionality. This new audit feature records all user activity (logins and logouts, updates to work items, documents, or fields, and permission changes) and makes the logged history easy to export, greatly facilitating compliance audits.
Watch this webinar recording announcing and demonstrating the new features in codeBeamer ALM 9.2.

How to plan and execute your application modernisation roadmapGerald Bachlmayr
As a business you need to react quickly to changing customer demands. In order to focus on your customer facing application you want to avoid taking on any work that can be done by your cloud provider. In this presentation we will explore how you can modernise your application to maximise your customer focus.
SMB Digital Conference: Transformation through modernisation_finalGerald Bachlmayr
Transformation through modernisation - These are the slides from the SMB 2022 Conference in Sydney.
2020 pulled the wool away from our eyes. In a Covid affected world the reliance on technology skyrocketed but the realisation dawned that post pandemic, technology can solve challenges and contribute significantly to better ways of working. Business is transforming and reaping the benefits — but what happens when a single application is letting the whole system down and holding you back from keeping pace with your competitors?
In this session, learn from a SaaS and technology veteran and an AWS Ambassador how your legacy systems can hold you back from ever delivering great customer experiences. Plus, why it’s pivotal to modernise your tech and go cloud-native before your competition moves too far ahead.
Three key takeaways:
1. Why cloud is the current gravity for change and what it means for your business.
2. How the Theory of Constraints and legacy applications can be your biggest problem in 2021 and beyond.
3. Why modernising your business on AWS can give you the edge.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
