The Cargo & Parcels Terminal of Guayaquil began construction in October 2008 and was completed in April 2009 at a cost of $348,634. It operates on the former site of the Guayas Transit Commission and has 5000 square meters with 34 cubicles for transportation cooperatives to provide cargo services. Approximately 2400 parcels are dispatched daily to different cities. Certain dangerous materials are prohibited from transport. Regulations specify weight limits for passenger luggage on interprovincial and intraprovincial buses. The terminal allows easy loading and unloading of cargo and is directly connected to the Guayaquil bus terminal.

is not enough to cover all in the same
place.

accommodate the other cooperatives
which handle more load and still operating

located right in the airport landing track.
