This paper begins with a general idea of self disclosure by therapists and the
importance of keeping the client s needs first. It covers many aspects of self
disclosure including ethically what to look for in the motives of using self disclosure
with a client. There are other aspects of self disclosure which include transference and
countertransference which are issues which need to be attended to immediately for
the therapist to remain objective and not react to a client. Therapists must be cautious
in disclosing information and make sure it is relevant to treatment. Beneficence and
nonmaleficence are important things to consider when self disclosing and the
therapist must be educated, well trained, and have experience before considering self

emulsifier and antioxidant agent. The other component morpholine as emulsifying
agent and ammonia was used to dissolve shellac being insoluble in water. Samples
dipped in distilled water were used as Control.
The solution was heated with constant stirring on a heating mantle at 70вЃ°C for 6
minutes. Samples were dipped in different concentration coating for 20sec and the
excess coating was drained. The coated samples were then kept for surface drying at

As Jill Soloway s TV show Transparent begins, the opening credits offer a glimpse
into the ideas of gender. From the lighting of a candle, symbolizing light into the
darkness of life, to a shimmering blue dress that worn by a female impersonator the
opening credits reveal the process of becoming a transgender. Transitioning from a
male to a female, or vice versa, is a feat that only a few come to do. However, in the
show Transparent, Mort Pfefferman transitions into Maura Pfefferman, a masculine
figure who blossoms in femininity and bravery. While it is already a difficult task to
come out as transgender, Maura has to deal with the drama revolving with her family.

One of the most challenging obstacles I have had to overcome is balancing school
work and recreational activities. As a high school student right now the most
important thing is to have good grades in school. On the other hand, it is also
important to have fun by spending time with friends and participating in sports at

Task Switching experiment. 18 Participants took a brief task switching test via
program Revolution Maker . Each trial was randomly assigned. The participants
were presented with numbers one through nine and on each trial had to react to the
number, to identify either its odd or even or if the magnitude was either less than 5
or more than 5. We hypothesis that when individuals are engaged in a cognitive task
there is a time cost that occurs when asked to switch between tasks as opposed to
repeating tasks.
Methods

18 undergraduate students from Brooklyn College participated in this study.
