LEADERSHIP
Shekhar Pawar founded GrassDew IT Solutions Private Limited in January 2016.
He has diverse software consulting, delivery and maintenance area expertise of over 13 years.
He is Engineering Graduate in Electronics & Telecommunication field, has done DSP &
Applications course from IIT-Madras.
Also, he did Executive Management studies in HR & Marketing from IIT-Bombay. He is also
Microsoft Certified Professional, and has got lot many awards during his career for his techno-
functional contributions to various assignments.
He worked with Capgemini India Pvt Ltd for almost 8 years of career. During his tenure with
Capgemini he played different roles as consultant, technical leader, risk management,
performance enhancements, security audits and fixtures, incident management, architect, pre-
sales, deployment strategies, 24 X 7 Production Support leadership, Interview Panel and
Software Maintenance Activities.
He was manager of big software professional team and multiple technologies handling different
delivery models serving key account of organization. His team got best team award for financial
year 2014, during his leadership.
As domain expert, he worked with various clients of Pharmaceutical, Telecommunication, E-
Learning, Banking, Insurance, Media, Payroll, Manufacturing etc.
He was also Assessment Team Member (ATM) for Capgemini’s CMMi Level 5 Services

OFFSHORE PROJECTS (OP)
Work is carried out on a project by project basis. GrassDew will architect, design, develop, maintain
and support a project/product for our customers.
ONSITE CONSULTANTS (OC)
GrassDew can send technical experts to work on site at the client location for a specified period of time.
Costing for this will be determined on a case to case basis.
INTEGRATED HYBRID ONSITE - OFFSHORE DELIVERY & SUPPORT (IOO)
GrassDew can provide both Onsite Consultant as well as Offshore Team to successfully deliver
Software Assignments or Support Services. It is more popular way of working.
DEDICATED OFFSHORE TEAMS (DOT)
A dedicated team of GrassDew is retained for a particular client. This is relevant for organizations
doing ongoing product development. There is a minimum requirement that the team must be
fully engaged at least 5 out of every 6 months.
OFFSHORE DEVELOPMENT CENTERS (ODC)
GrassDew can set up and manage a dedicated facility, committed to a single customer. The efforts in this

CASE STUDY 1 – BANK DATA MIGRATION
THE CUSTOMER
46+ years old bank having 49 branches and more than 12 districts presence in Maharashtra,
India.
THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE
With growing customer base and transactions bank wanted to upgrade current banking
platform to Oracle system. Bank has huge and complex database which needs to be migrated to
new system. Challenge is, this activity needs to be completed more accurately and should get
executed in short time frame during go-live deployment stage. Also, knowledge of data
migration strategy and different technology of databases is crucial. New system needs data with
certain modifications to be accepted as input. Most important part of this activity involves highly
sensitive and important data of bank and its customers, which is challenge for outsource to
outside vendor.
THE SOLUTION
 Considering high sensitive banking data, GrassDew proposed Onsite Consultant model for
this assignment which got approved by Bank as well.
 Closely working with bank’s team at bank’s office, software team from GrassDew started
working as part of strategy and implementation of logic for data migration.
 Existing database migration logic was reworked to make the performance good and to give
results in lesser time.
 Newly developed scripts with enhanced performance of data migration helped the bank to
reduce Live deployment time frame which has direct impact to bank’s business.
 Daily status reporting was managed by GrassDew to deliver milestone wise deliverables.

THE CUSTOMER
Having more than 35 years of industry leader in the field of voltage regulators and transformers
manufacturing.
THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Customer’s voltage stabilizers, transformers, and voltage regulators are used in a multiplicity of
diverse fields and applications. They are most significantly used in 24 hours’ process plants
where breakdowns may lead to huge financial losses. During sales and marketing of products or
even after customer started using these products in their plants, it was very difficult to explain
higher management that how effectively it is saving their electricity consumption.
THE SOLUTION
 As this was data analysis of product’s recording, this project was proposed as Offshore
Delivery model.
 GrassDew offered unique solution for putting formulas on base per minute data and
displayed it in auto generated report in both table as well as graphical representation.

What is oGPS?
oGPS has satellite map interface utility which provides many features useful for different
businesses.
It locates your customer addresses on map with different color code pins based on customer
type. It also shows driving directions between different addresses which are available in the
database.
oGPS helps user to calculate area and perimeter of any area, building, lake or any physical
objects. Such calculations are being saved into database, and can be retrieved again on map in
future.
Also, it helps creating customized localities around any area with customized images having its
own title.
