This study analyzes extreme values of rainfall and temperature in Ambon City using Generalized Extreme Value (GEV) distribution. Results indicate that rainfall data fits the GEV distribution while temperature data follows a normal distribution, with a projected increase in maximum temperature of only 0.66% over a 100-year return period. Diagnostic tests validate the suitability of the models used, emphasizing the need for attention to extreme climatic events due to their potential impacts.
