Google has grown tremendously since its IPO in 2004, with a current market capitalization of $399 billion. In Q2 2014, Google's global revenues were $15.7 billion, with 42% from the US, 9% from the UK, and 49% from the rest of the world. While click volumes on Google sites and its ad network have grown substantially year-over-year, the cost-per-click has declined. Google sees huge potential to monetize searches across multiple screens and devices. Though Search Star manages around £20 million annually for its clients, this only represents about 0.6% of Google's estimated £3.3 billion in annual UK revenues.
