Transcript of Tweets. There tends to be a lot of debate on the roles & responsibilities of the Project Manager vs. the Product Manager. In this twitter talk, we would like to gain a better understanding of how these roles can more effectively work together to bring to market high quality products.

High level general definition of product marketing to open a discussion about the distinctions, focus and competencies necessary to define product marketing within an organization.
Transcript of Tweets from discussion. In today's economy most organization have strict budget constraints which limits the amount of resources that can be dedicated to new products and product enhancements. Add to this, the fact that most industries are increasingly competitive and companies that do not keep up and adapt to fast changes find themselves rapidly fading out of existence.

This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

The Purpose Of Our Work
To catalyze a shift in both personal and
organizational culture so that we may evolve the
way we do business in such a way as to bring
about greater adaptability, innovation, and
ecological balance.
Our work is geared toward businesspeople and
entrepreneurs focused on culture as a force of
positive change, and offers a methodology to
help professionals and business leaders break
free from the prevailing cultural paradigm and
consider a different course.
Glenn Geffcken, glenn@balancedis.com
8. Key Takeaways
• The importance of culture for both personal and professional success
• Culture is the value system that drives results
• Shifting and enhancing culture begins at the top
• That we have always had the wisdom of how to create thriving
cultures, it’s the way we once lived, the indigenous way.
• The process of culture shift is non-linear
http://balancedis.com glenn@balancedis.com
9. “For individuals, character is destiny. For
organizations, culture is destiny.” – Tony Hsieh
“Powerful organizations and great brands
got there by aligning with and accelerating
tectonic cultural shifts, not by tweaking sales
one at a time.” – Seth Godin
10. What Is Culture?
Culture is the collective value system of an organization, which
principally drives its behavior.
What Culture Is Not?
Culture is not necessarily the stylist personality characteristics of
an organization.
http://balancedis.com glenn@balancedis.com
11. Why Is Culture So Important?
Culture drives behavior.
In fact, culture is the single most powerful thing we can focus on
to succeed in product development.
Culture has more to do with innovation, change, and creativity
than compensation systems, title, benefits, workspace, or
management style, etc..
Culture breaths life into an organization.
Culture defines who we are.

13. The Liberty Ship
• WWII supply ship
• Credited with winning the war
in Europe
• Manufactured in two weeks
• One built in four days
• Efficient manufacturing and
supply systems
Source: http://militaryhistory.about.com/od/industrialmobilization/p/libertyships.htm
The culture that supported the efficient manufacturing of the Liberty ship was
an entire country that firmly believed in the morality of the war and the
importance of doing our duty for country.
This was a culture of higher purpose!
http://balancedis.com glenn@balancedis.com
14. Culture Begins At The Top?
If culture change is not fully supported at the highest levels it
becomes inauthentic.
If rank and file employees do not feel their cultural aspirations are
supported by leadership, they will not feel engaged with their
work, and nor will they strive for higher achievement.
Leadership has the ability to set an example for change, but their
example will only be as effective as their efforts are authentic.
http://balancedis.com glenn@balancedis.com
15. "Times change but principles do not. Times change but lands do
not. Times change but our culture and our language remain the
same. And that's what you have to keep intact. It's not what you
wear - it's what's in your heart.” -- Oren Lyons, Onondaga
