You, the designer, have fulfilled the requirements of the design brief. After several iterations of the concept and actual design, the client has confirmed they are happy to approve the artwork and the job is done... but is it?.... What comes next?....

A picture is worth 1000 words, how many is video worth?
In this session we address how to:
- Develop a storyboard
- Review a support topic
- Create a related video
- Help users visualize how to perform the task
Doing this helps your audience SEE how to resolve issues before they become problems
The main deliverable of Event 3 ("Decide") is a storyboard that would be subsequently used for prototyping the desired customer experience of pre-qualified customers. Before preparing a storyboard, however, the best conceptual solution (sketch) has to be selected and, if necessary, remixed with the best features of alternatives to produce an "ideal (strongest) solution." This presentation visually summarizes the required process while providing three case studies to facilitate understanding of the process of "Decide."
Advocating for your users is key to project success. Kirsten Burgard and I show how, even developers can accomplish this via our process and case studies.

This lecture offers an overview of roles and responsibilities within the Design Studio. It investigates the types of thinking found in a Digital Agency. While looking at the differentiating roles that people assume in groups environments, the Lecture also discusses the different types of thinkers to seek out for a productive and successful design team. Lastly, the lecture briefly touches on 'What to do when you can’t do it all!' It looks at the commissioning of specialised creatives such as copywriters, proof readers, photographers, illustrators, web
developer etc.
User Experience Design: A basic level understanding of UXD for developer community. This is a quick summary and also consists of few tips and tricks to make your application usable.
When we are presented with a task our brain's natural response is to immediately begin conceptualizing a number of different approaches towards completing the task. Our mind doesn't develop a plan all at once—instead it adds new information and new tasks to the picture as the mind digests the problem over time. A mind map intuitively illustrates this process before your eyes.
Organizational charts are an essential element to the management structure of any company or institution.
In many organizations there are two ways of organizing people. The first is the familiar top-down organizational chart, which is great for documenting reporting relationships within a company.

Many of L+L’s premier accounts – large corporations in the pharmaceutical and

processes. And, while L+L had this documentation, it had lost its relevancy while it
was gathering dust on the general manager’s shelf for over a decade.

The purpose of strategic plan is to give a business a roadmap to its future. It answers three questions:
1. What is the mission of the business?
2. What goals should be met to accomplish
this mission?
3. What strategies should be employed to achieve these goals?
Building a visual is as simple as a few clicks of the mouse! All you have to do is choose the template for the visual you want to build and use the visual-specific SmartPanel™, with its one-click building tools, to let SmartDraw do the work for you.
Your days of dragging, dropping, and manually spacing symbols are over.
And once you’ve finished building your visual, SmartDraw has one-click export options, allowing you to animate and place your visual into a Microsoft PowerPoint® presentation, save your visual as a PDF or other file type, or place your visual into Microsoft Word® or Excel®.
This User Guide provides detailed instructions in using these revolutionary controls.
The strategic planning process requires effective communication and clear thinking. Gathering and analyzing data from inside and outside of an organization – and subsequently turning those data into information – requires clear and concise communication between all of the involved parties. Likewise, taking the acquired information and developing an understanding of it such that appropriate strategies can be developed and actions taken requires extreme clarity of thought. The best way to synthesize data into information and information into strategy is by thinking and communicating visually during the planning process.
This presentation explains why visual communication is superior to written and spoken communication, especially in the business place. It provides examples of how visuals can be used to communciate each of the famous "6 Ws" in the English language (Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How.)

Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
