Among my customers these are heavily used, and they have been the key factor in getting users to adapting Connections, since it makes it much faster for them to share documents and emails, and increase collaboration. Learn how administrators can skin and brand the plugins to fit with their company logo, colors and templates. Three years ago we established a knowledge sharing and networking platform for a European insurance alliance with IBM Connections, some add-ons and customizations were made. Learn about the learning curve, the feedback of the users and how it was possible to quadruple the user base in this timeframe. The customer will share their user-survey result, the positive feedback and the topics/areas we need to improve. This will be the base for the re-launch of the platform planned for next year with IBM Connections 6. Using Watson Work Services Java SDK

The Watson Work Services Java SDK is an open source project available on Maven Central or as an XPages library. It provides ease for Java developers to integrate with Watson Work Services, using standard builder approaches to set up queries and returning Java objects as the response. IBM Connections pink is based on Conductor for Containers, which provides a collection of tools to work with Docker containers and Kubernetes. To manage containers in large environments, lots of DevOps are using Ansible (an agentless software to automate administration tasks). So why don’t use these tools to prepare your Connections operating system, like creating users, adding security settings or install all necessary packages to deploy DB2, Installation Manager, and WebSphere Application Server?
