Neal Hurtson that she, being a black woman during the black liberation movement

The Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
is a legally binding international agreement, which was adopted in December 1997
and came into effect in February 2005. It aims to mitigate the effects of
anthropogenic climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Since an
emission anywhere in the world contributes to global warming (Campbell),
international cooperation was necessary to address climate change as, without
everyone s involvement, not much of an impact can be made.
As developed countries had historically been responsible for most emissions, they
were required to reduce emissions of these greenhouse gases, on average, to 5%
below 1990 levels. Meanwhile, no emissions reductions were imposed on developing
countries.
It should be noted that, though the average emissions reduction target was 5%, Kyoto
parties had varying targets. For example, the EU 15 countries that were EU members
in 1997 had a combined emissions reduction target of 8%, which was redistributed
among the various countries under the EU burden sharing agreement, giving each
member state a different emissions target (The ies.org).
The Doha Amendment to the Kyoto Protocol created a second commitment period
from 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2020, in which parties are required to lower
their emissions to at least 18% below 1990 levels.

The book I read is called True Believer by Nicholas Sparks. I think the author wrote
this book because he wanted to create another love story for people to read. When I
read this book, you could obviously tell it was fiction but some part of me thinks
that this story could come true in real life. Nicholas Sparks writes romantic novels
that people fall in lovewith. I chose this book because I am a fan of Nicholas Sparks
books and my aunt recommended it to me. True Believer is to entertain readers
with a good love story where miracles take place. The book takes place in Boone
Creek, North Carolina which is not a real city, but a city Nicholas Sparks made up.
He pictured it to be in Pamlico County down on the coast where it would become a
good retirement city.
My overall impression of the book was that it was a very good book. It had a
mystery but yet was a love story with things you never think would happen. I really
liked everything about the book, especially the sequence of events because it kept
me on my toes. The author did a very good job of explaining the sequence of
events, but I wish he would have continued the book more. I think the author did
achieve his theme by coming up with a love story that included a ghost story, which
