Organic agriculture is a practice that does not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulators or GMOs. It promotes biodiversity and the health of soil, plants, animals and people. Nutrient management in organic farming relies on practices like crop rotation, cover cropping, adding compost or manure, green manures, crop residues, and approved amendments to optimize soil health and nutrient supply. Maintaining soil organic matter and biological activity through these practices is the foundation of organic agriculture.

Non-monetary inputs play an important role in sustainable cropping systems. Some key non-monetary inputs include tillage practices, time of sowing, plant population, choice of crops and varieties, pest management, and weed management. For example, minimum or zero tillage can reduce costs while maintaining yield through improved soil health. Proper timing and plant spacing are also crucial for optimizing yields. Selecting drought-tolerant or pest-resistant varieties suited to local conditions helps maximize productivity with fewer purchased inputs. Integrated pest management and intercropping can also control pests and weeds at low cost. Together, optimizing these non-monetary factors through agroecological practices is important for profitable and sustainable

• To acquire enterprise management capabilities. The experiential learning program will be offered for 180 days (one semester) period in the final year.
• Experiential Learning aims towards Practical Work Experience in Real Life Situation among the undergraduate students and therefore it helps student become “Job Providers rather than Job Seekers”.
Cumin is an important annual spice crop mainly grown in India, Egypt, and China. It grows 20-30 cm tall with pink or white flowers and compound leaves. The fruit is 4 mm long and does not split open when ripe. Varieties grown in India include RSK-1, TOPLKA, and GC-1. Cumin grows best in loamy soil with good drainage in a dry, mild climate and is harvested 80-120 days after sowing when seeds turn grayish brown. Pests and diseases that affect cumin include wilt, blight, powdery mildew, aphids, and thrips.
Natural Farming- Zero Budget Natural Farmingdarshan kadam
This document provides information about natural farming and zero budget natural farming (ZBNF) in India. It discusses the principles and practices of natural farming according to major proponents like Masanobu Fukuoka, Subhash Palekar who developed ZBNF, and initiatives in Indian states to promote ZBNF. It summarizes the key drivers of ZBNF adoption, impact on yields, costs and incomes, and ongoing research efforts including ICAR's evaluation of ZBNF claims and potential large scale impacts on Indian agriculture.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs
