5% = Unclear about the debate
10% = Seemed understand the main points
15% = Understood the topic in-depth
20% = Clearly understood the topic in-depth and presendted information
forcefully and convincingly.
2. Argument = 20%
5% = Debate lacks argument that support proposition.
10% = Less than 4 arguments raised throughout the debate to support proposition.
15% = 4 arguments clearly presented to support proposition.
20% = 5 more arguments presented to support proposition, arguments complex and
articulate.

5% = No effective counter arguments made. Did not direct address
oponents’ arguments.
10% = Few effective counter-arguments made directly addressing some
of oponents’ arguments.
15% = Some effective counter-argument made directly addressing some

20% = Directly addresses each arguments raised by opponent. Offers
extensive evidence to refute opposing point
