With concept videos, you have a visual of the lyrics,
which allows us to understand the concept of the
song. Occasionally, you will have concept music
videos that have no link towards the lyrics of the song.
An example of this would be Vampire Weekend –
Giving up the gun that bases their music video of a
game of tennis and does not have a clear link towards
the lyrics.

3. Narrative
A narrative music video is the way the story is structured and
organized in a way to make sense to the audience. It displayed
how events have happened In time and space. An example of
this would be Of Monsters and men – Little Talks. Within this music
video it is based around the visuals of the music video rather
than the performance.
