Because the song is about pressure we think it would be best to show pressure it a visual form with edgy performance and a narrative scene where a person is subjected to different types of pressure but at the end the band and the person from the narrative would join together to create a feeling of ease and excitement at the end.<br />We are planning to film on at least 3 locations (live performance on a stage with many fans, narrative sequence showing a stressed character, the band recording the song in the studio, and possibly another location of the band performing) this would give us a great variety of shots and a good amount of footage to work with.<br />To create a unique group image we will use costumes and unique colours to signify the band.<br />-11430080010<br />Ideas - <br />We decided to choose this shot because it’s interesting as it is a birds-eye view long shot of the singer. It intrigues the audience as this is the first image shown and can make them wonder what will happen and if he will fall. This would work for the narrative sequence in our music video.<br />This shot from Foster the People video is a very inspiring example of how effects can be used over a piece of footage to introduce different effects such as old film or graphics over video. Most of these effects would normally be achieved in the post-processing of the music video. We think effects would be very appropriate for our music video because of the song.<br />When we will film the live performance on the stage we want to focus on the band members although good lighting is required, also we could cut to some fans to give a better feel of the performance.<br />In our mind map we have pointed out that it may be interesting to have some behind the scenes footage of the band members preparing to do the show and I think it could be shown creatively using many out of focus shots and silhouettes.<br />We feel that the concept of this shot is very similar to our song for our project as the audience is aware of his boss yelling at him in the background. This is something that a lot of people can relate to and can feel empathy for him. Here the narrative is shown through a medium shot. The composition of the shot also shows that the director wanted all of the attention on him, although the background works well with him as it tells the story of what situation he is in.19050163195<br />As the song is about pressure, we will include a few snippets of footage which would relate to pressure and disruption.
