Routes 2012, 2 October: Presentation on Alliance Coverage and Gulf Carrier Pe...Joshua Marks
Using the masFlight platform, we show that Qatar Airways leads the Middle East’s three super carriers in ontime performance, while Emirates maintains its advantage on network scale and destinations served. This presentation was prepared in partnership with OAG.
Presented on 2 October at the OAG-hosted World Route Development Forum in Abu Dhabi, UAE. According to masFlight’s comparative data analysis, Qatar Airways is currently leading the Gulf’s ‘superconnectors’ in ontime performance. However, when it comes to global network footprint and connectivity, Emirates still enjoys a clear advantage.
However, Emirates, Qatar and Etihad are all still in the infancy of their network expansion and the competition they present to airline alliances is increasing. The key route expansion opportunities for Gulf carriers are with the United States, overflying European hubs. We can therefore expect to see an accelerating ‘land grab’ by Middle East airlines, especially for neutral airports like Boston’s Logan International, and for US hubs with a European focus, such as Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County, Miami International and Philadelphia International.
Regarding the airline alliances, our analysis shows that oneworld needs to add member airlines to compete effectively with Star Alliance and SkyTeam. Star Alliance has by far the greatest network reach, with top coverage across the 1,000 major global markets. In contrast, SkyTeam’s strength is efficiency: its strong, centralised hubs give the alliance great geographic reach through fewer flights that Star. Trailing the pack is oneworld, which while competitive in key cities and market pairs needs new members to increase its coverage globally.
masFlight is a leading analytics platform for aviation, combining global flight information with weather, airport, fleet and economic data. At the World Route Development Forum on 1 October 2012, masFlight and OAG, the market leader in airline schedule data, announced a new partnership to jointly develop operations data analysis tools to enable airlines and airports to understand their own and competitors’ operational performance.

Rob Bain - Toll Road Forecasting (abridged)JumpingJaq
The document discusses feedback from clients and lawyers on how to improve toll road traffic and revenue forecasting reports. Clients suggest focusing forecasts more on the future rather than just the base year, providing better transparency into the modeling process, and telling a compelling "traffic story" narrative. Lawyers describe past toll road litigation related to allegedly misleading traffic projections, with settlements in the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. The feedback indicates a need for more realistic, evidence-based forecasts that consider a range of possible outcomes.

Changing the channel
Television is adapting well to technological change compared to other media. While increased choice from hundreds of channels and online streaming poses challenges, television still commands mass audiences. It remains the best way to reach huge numbers of people at once. However, online streaming of TV shows is growing rapidly, and television is spreading to new devices, blurring lines with other media. While this poses threats to TV's business model from lost advertising, television has proven resilient through periods of predicted demise before.

LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like
Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems

Changes in vegetation cover refer to variations in the distribution, composition, and overall
structure of plant communities across different temporal and spatial scales. These changes can
occur natural.

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.

Kasur
Let me to initiate my submissions about the founder, genesises and
history of Kasur: - City Kasur is made in the name of Kusa and city
Lahore is made in the name of Lava; they were twin brothers and the
sons of Maharaja Ram Chand and Sitta Gee (Hindus' Dieties of
“Mahabhartha”).) (Ref: Sir Monier: William Monier pp 296, 898).
The Aryan during Vedic period migrated from Central Asia and settled
in the Punjab region including Kasur. Kasur was an agricultural
region with forests during the Indus Valley Civilization.
The Aryans, Kambojas, Daradas, Kaikayas, Pauravas, Yaudheyas,
Malavas and Kurus invaded, settled and ruled. Thereafter
the Achaemenid Empire was set in here.
Pertinently, 3000 years ago Kasur was the residing place of Aryans
Kamboja tribe of Mittni Iraq Mesopotamia Persia. And in their name of
place and Clan: Kasur was named as Kassara Puthana Kamboja.
In 331 BC Greek conqurer Alexander's military invaded here.
Latter on Kasur was ruled variously by the Maurya, Kushan, Gupta,
White Huns, Kushano Hephthalites and Shahi kingdoms. And Sultan
Sebuktegin' son Mehmud Ghaznvi's period was started in 997 AD.
Ascendent Muhgal and Descendant Mughal Empire
In 1398 Emperor Tamur conquered India.'Afghans/ Pathans were
settled here in Kasur under King Tamur’s Viceroy Bahlul Lodhi
King Tamur's descendents Mughal Emperors has Re: Allotted Kasur
to Pathans. During Mogul Kings period (1526-1857) Kasur was also
re-named as Qasur Pathanan.
Qasur is the plural of word “Qasar” means Palace. So Qasur means
city of Palace, as there were many Palaces (32Palaces) here in Kasur
in the Mogul Kingship. However with the ravages of times old
buildings of Kasur were came under wear and tear gradually. However
some reminiscent of those days monumental as of a 12 gate Hall
called Saleem Jamand's Baradari is still located near Church
Katchahry Road/ Kot Ghulam Muhammad Khan Kasur City. Anyway
in the reign of Mogul King Ahmad Shah (Rengeela Badshah) Kasur
was re-built.
Names of Kasur in different eras are as under: -
Kusara, Kassara, (Ka-ssa-ra), Kashawar, (Ka-sha- uur), Kashu Pur,
Kesh Pur, Shaker Pur, Shakar Pur, Kasu pur, Kashurpur, Kashoor,

complacency. The online encyclopaedia, www.wikipedia.com has been
enjoying literary subscription from it. Some authors have plagiarised
material from the book “Geniuses of Kasur”. Although their act is
illegal and un-ethical but it is again their confession of their non-
competence to research and write of their own. Anyway, it is another
attribution to the book “Geniuses of Kasur”, that various websites on
Kasur including www.kasur.org have taken material from it.

Commandant of PMA Pakistan Military Academy Kakool, Abbotabad.
And was feeling much honour for him and for other 28 Kasuris on
being the Commissioned Officer in the loyal armed forces of Pakistan
in 2013. He took interest in publishing the excerpts of this book in Al-
Hilal, the official Pakistan Civil-Military Gazetteer.

Topography: Topography of Kasur District shows
that it lies between the River Sutlej,
River Bias and River Ravi.
River Sutlej flows along its boundaries
with India and River Bias is also
adjacent to River Sutlej but water is
generally used by India, as she had
built a head works on it, however in
rainy season its spill ways are opened,
that cause flood in Kasur.
River Ravi flows along its boundary
with Sheikhupura District.
The districts may be divided into two
parts, a low lying (Hithar) area along
the two bordering rivers and upland,
