Woody and herbaceous invasive plant species are common in this altered riparian area.
In the Verde Valley, Friends of the Verde River Greenway (FVRG) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) have teamed up with local, state and federal partners to take on this challenge. Together, they are working to transform terra incognita into a community asset that will provide reliable irrigation water and recreational opportunities, as well as improve river flow and fish and wildlife habitat
Both FVRG and TNC are also engaged in watershed-scale programs that provide the context for successful local projects. FVRG leads the Verde Watershed Restoration Coalition, a river restoration collaborative and co-convenes the Verde Front, a sustainable recreation collaborative. TNC has developed strong partnerships with surface water users to improve irrigation efficiencies that enhance river flow.

Yorkshire Water has invested substantially to comply with EU water directives following the first river basin management plan. This included designating all reservoirs as heavily modified water bodies to achieve good ecological potential, catchment management projects to improve water quality, and water quality investigations. The company is also leading the Don Network partnership to engage stakeholders and develop a catchment action plan for the Don River basin through the next planning cycle. The goal is to address risks and uncertainties by building technical understanding and testing solutions to achieve good water status throughout Yorkshire by 2027.

This report summarizes the findings of the dynamic groundwater resources assessment of Maharashtra conducted for the year 2008-2009 by the Groundwater Surveys and Development Agency of Maharashtra in association with the Central Ground Water Board of India. The total rechargeable groundwater resources in Maharashtra are estimated to be 35.73 billion cubic meters, with a net availability of 33.81 billion cubic meters after accounting for domestic and industrial needs. Of this, 17 billion cubic meters are currently being withdrawn for various uses like irrigation, domestic, and industrial purposes. Compared to 2004, groundwater use has increased by 1.91 billion cubic meters. The total rechargeable groundwater resources in Maharashtra are estimated to be 35.73 billion cubic meters, with a net availability of 33.81 billion cubic meters after accounting for domestic and industrial needs. Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.
