4. This video is showing how living the glorified
thug life is not all as it seems. those
brought up without a choice want to become
better and make it out of that life rather
than stay in it.

the film's creation.
We opted for this font due
to its graffiti-inspired
flair, capturing attention
with its unique and bold
characteristics, making it

7. as the intro fades in, we open with a teenage boys room (david) from a SUBURBAN
gated community. He is laying in bed scrolling through social media watching
“thug” videos (archive news) while paying no mind to his tv ( michael irvin’s voice
over is on the screen from the intro) While the intro is finishing David grabs his
black hoodie and leaves his home.

8. David WALKS by a brick wall,
(D.U.Ivan will be centered
wearing his merch and rapping
THE CHORUS with a microphone
hanging from the sky) In the
background of D.U.Ivan
performing, David is spray
painting “Thug Life” in yellow
onto the brick wall with his
black hoodie on.

9. Kevin a teenage boy from the hood, is
listening to d.u.ivan’s song on his radio
and is doing his art piece. He
eventually gets up and gets dressed.
He then starts heading out to his job
as a waiter.

10. Kevin passes the very same brick
wall that D.U.Ivan is still rapping
at, kevin stops and scrubs off the
graffiti David has left on the wall.
After finishing the clean up Kevin
proceeds to go to his job.

11. Kevin is now at his job and just got a new table to
serve and it is just d.u.ivan and he is still there
rapping while kevin is writing down his order.

12. (now late evening) we see David and his
friends outside in front of a liquor store.

13. D.U.Ivan walks past david and his friends and goes into the same
liquor store that they are hanging in front of. D.U.Ivan goes
inside the store and purchases a juice and goes outside and looks
at the boys this time in disappointment and walks away.

14. David is now seen spray
painting the same wall he once
did before, but This time he
spray paints “Ghetto Life”.
D.u.ivan is seen again standing
behind the mic that is hanging,
and he’s still rapping.

15. As David is spray painting,
a police officer pulls up
behind him and asks him
to drop the spray can and
place his hands behind his
head (D.U.Ivan is still
standing there with the
mic hanging still rapping)
David is being arrested
for public vandalism.

16. (Fades To Kevin’s School stage in Auditorium) Kevin is seen on
stage in the top 3 of the artwork contest, while D.U.Ivan is the
spokesperson for the event (he is seen talking but it is him
rapping his lyrics) Kevin is announced the winner of the art
contest by D.U.ivan.

17. (last scene) Kevin is on stage after receiving the first place
award (which is a trophy and a college scholarship) and holding
his project up alongside D.U.Ivan.

18. this video is unique and different from
other videos with utilizing D.U.Ivan as
the narrator giving a point of view
from two different teenage boys living
on opposite ends of life.
comparing our video to “Class Act”,
“Equalizer 2”, and “FRESH” the message is
no matter the circumstances you are
brought up in, you have “the choice” to
change your path in life and don't have
to go down the one already making you
another statistics.

20. MADISON LIVINGSTON Madison is an aspiring music
industry professional. SHE HAS
experience from an impactful
internship at HUGE MUSIC STUDIOS
along with continuous volunteer
work FOR music fest orlando and
HER ONGOING EDUCATION AT FULL SAIL
UNIVERSITY. MADISON WAS ABLE TO
Demonstrate exceptional
creativity and proficiency in
various software applications
throughout this treatment and SHE
developED further into the
KNOWLEDGE OF THE production field.

21. Yaé Williams
Yaé has been around music all her
upbringing from singing for her
family, being apart of her
hometowns community center
marching band, and djing with her
older brother growing up. Yaé
found her love for music when her
dad introduced her to 'Boyz to Men'
at the tender age of seven. her
passion really took off after
dedicating most of her time to her
cousin who is a musical artist.
With this project Yaé was able to
put her creative skills to work
while also improving and building
her leadership abilities.
