 Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving. Improve
manpower utilization within existing departments and processes.
 Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies. Manage spending
against budget, controlling spending in relation to changes in production volume.
 Assure that collective bargaining agreements are effectively administered and that
employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion.
 Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all
employees’ positive involvement with opportunity for construction input and action.
 Continual improvementsby driving QCC’s, and Kaizens involving the operators
working in that area . Safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and
employeesafety attitudes.
 Maintain individual skills keeping up to date with latest production and production
management concepts.
 Do Why-Why analysis and find corrective action for root cause identified & to
minimize machine breakdowns and safety in shopfloor working area .
 Ensure 5S Implementation ,shopfloor safety precautions & discipline and impart
training .
 Initiate for developing manufacturing process through LPS, Cost saving Kaizen
improvement projects .
 Interacting with customers frequently for understanding manufacturing or quality
issues ,and solve through Why-Why analysis and find corrective action for root cause

 Heading Production of Mechanical Carbon Seals,Axial Bearings ,Carbonbushes,
Thrust pads, Steam Joints and graphite components .
 Accountable On Time Delivery of production targets as per Marketing commitments

machine and materials in Operations .
 Ensuring the activities correlated with Machine shop comprising of Resin
Impregnation ,CNC Turning and CNC Grinding along with conventional lathes ,
Milling m/c and surface grinding machines and also machines related Metal
impregnation process .
 Handling the operations with a production team of 200 workmen and 4 supervisory
staff and 2 executives .
 Providing training to the Supervisory Staff and workmen for skill development .
