5. Future Continuous
• Actions in progress in the future

• Describe a future situation
Ex: At the party tomorrow, Alan will be giving his
speech.
6. Future Perfect
• A completed action before another
action/time in the future.
Ex: By 2020, I will have traveled to Europe.
• Duration of action before a future event (It is
usually used with states, not actions):
Ex: By next month, I will have been married for
three years.
7. Future Perfect Continuous
• Duration before something in the future.
Ex: They will have been talking for over an hour by the
time Thomas arrives.
• Cause of Something in the Future
Ex: Jason will be tired when he gets home because
he will have been jogging for over an hour.
