17. Conclusion
In Mymensingh sadar region, rice is cultivated mostly. In this year, the
production of Boro rice is badly affected due severe occurrence of the
disease “Blast of Rice”.
The farmers used-
• Azonil 56 SC
• Seltima; for controlling the disease.
According to the suggestion of the producer company-
 Recommended dose: 0.2% (20 ml/10 l water for 5 decimals of land)
 Frequency: 2 times
 Time of application: First spray during the panicle initiation stage
and 10 days later the second spray.
 It is suggested to spray in the morning or during afternoon.
