OVERTIME
• The goal is to enhance the system to automatically determine the
overtime for hourly workers from the regular and paid time off
hours that come into the Payroll Journal from scheduling, time
entry or manual entry
• Certain hours need to be excluded – field add to the Payroll
Control Card “Exclude from Overtime”
• System needs to compute overtime weekly – field in Payroll Setup
“Week Start” tells the system when each week begins
• The system can compute overtime for up to 8 weeks of data
contained in the batch
• The user enters the required threshold (typically 40 or 44) on the
request page of the batch process
• The overtime calculation can create the companion earnings
records in the same process (required if using blended rates)
• Supports per Assignment method
• Can include previously posted entries in determining OT
• Can determine a OT blended rate across multiple assignments

EMPLOYMENT
• Record of Employment (Canada)
• New field “Occupation to Export” to allow for editing the
assignment title before file creation
• Setup fields on Payroll Control for Holiday Pay and Vacation
Pay amounts to be inserted into the Detail Lines
• Mass Create Records of Employment
• Mainly used by school boards
• Good for putting employees on short periods of leave
without assignment changes (e.g. March break)
• Filter on fields from Assignments to select records to
process.
• Use report first to confirm what employees and assignments
will receive ROE records before running create process
• Will skip if TO BE EXPORTED records already exist
• If “Separation from Last Pay” is checked, the system will
determine the last “Date Worked” as the separation date.

MASS CHANGES
• Mass Creation HR Employee Tasks
• Add an HR Task to one or more employees with a Due Date
• Uses the Primary Assignment or All Assignments of the
Employee
• Filter by Employee and/or HR PLE Fields
• Mass Leave and Return HR Request
• Can be used for 10 month employee for break periods or
any employee on maternity leave
• Uses HR Request Details Change
• Puts current assignment on leave
• Creates new assignment for Expected Return Date
• Can filter by any field on the HR Job, HR Position or HR PLE
• Includes a new HR Reason Code and Process Functions
• The Load Standard Data function has been changed to
include the new HR Reason Code
• If you have customized the HR Reason Codes, you will
need to manually add the HR Reason Code and
Process Functions for the Leave and Return

  • 5. #FUELGOOD18 OVERTIME • The goal is to enhance the system to automatically determine the overtime for hourly workers from the regular and paid time off hours that come into the Payroll Journal from scheduling, time entry or manual entry • Certain hours need to be excluded – field add to the Payroll Control Card “Exclude from Overtime” • System needs to compute overtime weekly – field in Payroll Setup “Week Start” tells the system when each week begins • The system can compute overtime for up to 8 weeks of data contained in the batch • The user enters the required threshold (typically 40 or 44) on the request page of the batch process • The overtime calculation can create the companion earnings records in the same process (required if using blended rates) • Supports per Assignment method • Can include previously posted entries in determining OT • Can determine a OT blended rate across multiple assignments T A

  • 7. #FUELGOOD18 RECORDS OF EMPLOYMENT • Record of Employment (Canada) • New field “Occupation to Export” to allow for editing the assignment title before file creation • Setup fields on Payroll Control for Holiday Pay and Vacation Pay amounts to be inserted into the Detail Lines • Mass Create Records of Employment • Mainly used by school boards • Good for putting employees on short periods of leave without assignment changes (e.g. March break) • Filter on fields from Assignments to select records to process. • Use report first to confirm what employees and assignments will receive ROE records before running create process • Will skip if TO BE EXPORTED records already exist • If “Separation from Last Pay” is checked, the system will determine the last “Date Worked” as the separation date.   • 9. #FUELGOOD18 MASS CHANGES • Mass Creation HR Employee Tasks • Add an HR Task to one or more employees with a Due Date • Uses the Primary Assignment or All Assignments of the Employee • Filter by Employee and/or HR PLE Fields • Mass Leave and Return HR Request • Can be used for 10 month employee for break periods or any employee on maternity leave • Uses HR Request Details Change • Puts current assignment on leave • Creates new assignment for Expected Return Date • Can filter by any field on the HR Job, HR Position or HR PLE • Includes a new HR Reason Code and Process Functions • The Load Standard Data function has been changed to include the new HR Reason Code • If you have customized the HR Reason Codes, you will need to manually add the HR Reason Code and Process Functions for the Leave and Return T M
