Parle Agro is an Indian company founded in 1984 that started with beverages and later expanded into other areas. It launched Frooti, India's first mango drink sold in Tetra Pak packaging, in 1985. Frooti became very popular and the largest selling mango drink in India. In the late 1990s, Frooti's sales stagnated due to increased competition. Parle Agro revamped Frooti's packaging and positioning in 2001 to target youth aged 16-21 and launched an advertising campaign called "Digen Verma" to boost excitement around the brand.
