EBSCOhost Databases
1. Use these steps for EBSCOhost databases:
2. Find an article that has the full text available.
3. Click on the article title to view the citation.
4. Find the Persistent link to this record: at the bottom of the screen.
5. If off-campus, copy and paste the link. It includes the off-campus prefix, so you don't need to
add it. If on campus, convert to include proxy link in front of Permalink.

Gale Databases
Use these steps for Gale databases:
1. Find a document that has the full text available.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
3.Copy the Document URL.
4. Paste the URL into your document.
5. If off-campus, copy and paste the link. It includes the off-campus prefix, so you don't need to
add it. If on campus, convert to include proxy link in front of Permalink.

Ebscohost E-book Collection
1. Search the Library Catalog to find an Ebscohost e-book or go through the Online
Database Listings.
2. Find the Electronic Access link for St. Philip’s College.
3. Right click on the electronic access link and choose Copy Shortcut.
4. Paste the shortcut link into your document. It includes the off-campus prefix, so you
don't need to add it OR
5. Go through the listing and use the Permalink as for other Ebscohost databases.
