 Foreign policy is how a country’s government chooses to address
transactions with other nations

THE MARSHALL PLAN


After World War 11 many European countries were in

ruins and national economies were devastated


Secretary of State George C. Marshall believed that it was

America’s job to “do whatever it is able to do to assist in the
