Whilst researching
fonts to artists
which have similar
style to my artist
I came across that
the texts were very
clean, simple, and
bold. I came across
that the name of
the artist was
usually bigger than
the artists album
name, this may help
the recognition of
the album when it
is shelved in
stores.
Cax M-I was
very interested in this text as I found it very plain and simple, and if put onto a black background with the white text, I
think it would stand out very nicely with the theme of my artists album cover.
CAX M- I found that this text was like the first text called ORATOR STD but had a slight tilt and was more flicked. I
found this text interesting as it was unique in the sense that I haven’t seen it before. It looks like Loyle Carners album font
as it looks like it is done more freehand.
I think I will use the first text on my album as I think it would stand out if it was to be on a shelf, allowing it
to be more eye catching as well being a very recognisable font.
