How I tried to appeal to my target audience Iused a consistent and easy on the eye colour scheme to draw in my audience and make my magazine look better I attempted to draw readers in with large, attention grabbing sell lines and interesting puffs and captions In the main image, the model looks directly into the camera establishing a connection with the audience so they hopefully are interested in them and the model appeals to them. The layout of each page is simple to read and not too text heavy. This is sop people are not put off by the look of the magazine and are invited into it. The poses of the model fit into the genre yet are neither aggressive or dismissive. They can intrigue the reader and help them to buy the magazine.

3. I tried to make sure my double page spread article was broken up so it didn’t appear text heavy. In my audience research, people said that in other magazines the article looked text heavy and this created a negative effect. Therefore I tried to break it up as much as possible which pictures, quotes, drop caps and bold writing. Similarly to on my first two pages, I tried to draw in my audience and establish a connection with the model. I did this by having the model look into camera and using large colourful headings and sub-headings. From my audience research, I learned a lot from my audience and this transpired through my work in a number of ways. I made sure that my models look appealing and not to alienate my audience from them as this came across in an interview. Also I tried to make sure the colour scheme stayed constant and nothing overpowered the page as these were all noticed by my audience when looking at similar magazines.

4. Rough Cut Feedback Subsequent Changes From my rough cut feedback, I received great constructive criticism which helped me to improve my work and learn from what I had made. Changes I made from this feedback are that the right hand corner of my front page was blank, the colour of the quote was too dark and unreadable, I changed one of the pictures on my front cover to vary shot distance, I changed font on my double page spread and added a stroke on my text. I received all this feedback seen here and the changes can be seen on the next slide.
