• Sign up on dev.twitch.tv in advance
• When you create your app, make note of your Client
Secret. This is the only time you will see it
• When linking accounts, store the Twitch user’s Access
token AND Refresh token
• When you select the scopes you want the user to
authorize, think broadly about what you intend to do so
you don’t have to ask the user to re-authorize next
week you add something
