VOICE and PROJECTION
 Voice Projection
-Projection is the carrying over of the voice.
The voice amplification ought to be appropriate to the
message, audience, and location.

from that for reading love poems.
BREATHING
 Types of Breathing
 I. Diaphragmatic Breathing. -This is recommended by most
trained voice and speech instructor.
 II. Clavicular Breathing. -The speaker raises the shoulder
and collarbones while inhaling.
 III. Thoracic Breathing. -The sternum (breastbone) is
elevated during inhalation and pulls in the lower ribs during
the exhalation.

 Articulation - is the procedure that
allows the outgoing breath to be
widened, narrowed, or closed off and
categorized into various recognizable
speech sounds.
