10. How to make a good application? Research the firm/chambers in depth Address their requirements. These include: communication skills, attention to detail, commercial awareness, good academic grades Give evidence from a range of settings- include your part-time work and extra curricular activities Show why you want to be a solicitor/barrister- it is important to show your commitment to a career in Law Dedicate sufficient time Don’t copy and paste from previous applications Accuracy is essential
