Key accountabilities: Our client is looking for a diligent and strong Financial controller who is resil-
ient, self motivated and enthusiastic. A quick thinker who can solve problems calmly and effectively.
Financial Controls: Implementation of Operational controls along side the Operations Manager.
Ensure that all Heads of Department adhere to control procedures,
Be Fully aware of the Front Office System and reports produced by this department.
Control Purchasing through the purchase order system, and use of Procure Wizard.
Purchasing Contracts review for optimum profit .
Daily ledger all balances e.g. Guest Ledger, Sales profitLedger, Deposit Ledger etc.
To ensure that daily banking is accurate and balances to business achieved. Cash Book to loaded and matched accurately.
Budget Controls: Cost Control
Manage Wage costs with HR.
Budgeting with the Operators and delivering to HQ within Timetables.
Monthly capex.
Forecasting / Management Three-month forecast ,weekly basis, in conjunction with the Senior Management team,
Accounts: Produce a forecast to end of year (or half year).
Ensure that hotel accounts (P & L and Balance Sheet) to deadline
Weekly expenses forecast
Ensure that the daily forecast is completed on Revcon spreadsheet & this tool is used daily as part of revenue control
People Management: Train Night Auditors in all revenue and report producing procedures.
Supports HoD’s with financial guidance.
Train and develop your team to deliver best practice and results
Develop a Multi skilled team to cover each other throughout the year
Management: Support and advise the General Manager in all areas of finance, to enable them to maximise on profitability of the business at all
times.
Ensure good communication with HQ
