Job Description:
We are looking for a Head Pastry Chef who is an enthusiastic person with a great personality, committed with good
managerial and great organisation skills. You must be able to work in a busy and fast paced environment and deliver high
quality pastries to numerous food outlets utilising the best produce from the market.
This is a hands on position and will suit someone who leads by example.
Required experience for the Pastry Chef:
- Two years experience at similar level
- 4/5 Star Hotel experience is advantageous
- Experience in managing and training staff is essential (Brigade of 3/4)
- Good business control Pastry Chef candidates should have a comprehensive proven background in high end restaurants
and 4/5 star Hotel operations with a sound repertoire of pastry and bakery goods with strong knowledge of breads
