Our client is a well established London Pub Company with an ever growing eclectic collection of venues
from traditional pubs, modern bars and a couple of boutique hotels.
The Venue we are recruiting for today sits somewhere between a traditional English Pub, and Hotel and
functions venue. The Tudor property has 9 new build rooms with planning permission for 20 more taking
the site to 29 rooms. The functions space consists of four rooms with two having there own bars and can
cater to 500 covers. The Carvery Restaurant on a key day such as Fathers Day will attract 650 covers
throughout the day
The Brief is to recruit a highly motivated manager with in-depth marketing skills including those of Rev
Par / Rate Management knowledge of distribution channels for rooms sales and social media networking
for offers and events.
The successful candidate will also have grown up in Food and Beverage probably in restaurants
conference and banqueting rather than public house management. This venue is unique and is becoming
known as the place to go for quality and value and great entertainment. The site is attractive and
affordable and will deliver a superb product for the money. When you add volume to any business, control
of standards and systems becomes essential. We believe therefore that a branded background will have
instilled control however a mix of Hotels, Branded Operations and independent hotels or restaurants where
quality-volume can be demonstrated will be attractive. Some Flair and Energy are required here.
