2. Webpage
The web page will be dark, with contrasting colours ie White and
Black, Black and red etc. There will be a band photograph as the
center of attention of the webpage with information like concerts,
product releases, merchandise, video releases etc. These are
the common conventions of rock bands homepages, dark
colours and band pictures. But also these are the key
conventions of a website for a band; key dates for the band
including products, music and video releases, pages to
merchandise, band photographs to put a face to the name. In
addition there will be an about us section as fans often enjoying
knowing a bit personal stuff about the bands they like.

4. The CD Cover
The cover of most rock band CD’s aren’t images of the
band, there is more of a pop music convention.
Typically the cover of albums for rock bands are
drawings or some form of graphics. Very simple, but
eye catching and often conceptual. The front of the CD
will have the name of the band and the name of the
album and thats it, the back will have tracklist, and
more information about production companies etc.

6. Music Video
The music video will follow similar convention
and styles to the examples of my other two
products. The theme of the video will be dark
and dystopian. I will use dark contrasting
colours and have a heavy use of shadows. The
video will also feature the band, to conform with
conventions of a rock band music video.
