- 1. Year 12 Film Proposal – ZKMC Prod. (Final) Presence Film plot What is the story about? What happens in the film? Genre? Characters and cast Setting Locations/times/ light etc. Costumes and props Modern, historic, casual, uniform Filming camera angles /Shots/effects/editing/sound/music Genre: Comedy/Action Story: This is the story of two rookie policeman and there attempt to take their job seriously. They are assigned a task of monitoring a public park, where they will aim to make their first arrest. What happens: The two policemen enter the public park expecting the worst, but they find no trouble/problems whatsoever. They lose interest in their assignment of monitoring the park and decide to sit down and talk to each other. After an event where a passerby is killed (which they fail to notice) they see another passerby drop a bag of rubbish (littering), they believe this is their best chance to finally catch a criminal. So they pursue the suspect in a thrilling chase. The scene ending Actors/Characters: Chris and Kvarne (Policemen), Nadeem (Killed civilian), Zak/Mo (Passerby/criminal) Script Writers: All four of us will write script and then combine our ideas together. Camera: Zak and Mohamed Guest Actors: Nadeem Jan Location: Local Park Times: Afternoon Lighting: Notan lighting (Natural), depending on weather – hopefully bright and sunny. Costume: Formal shirt, tie, trousers light colours, dark suit, sunglasses, guns, police hat Props: Guns, sunglasses, rubbish bag Colour scheme: Black and white (Police uniform colours) Make up: None Camera Angles: High angles on character (vulnerable), Mid shot for both main characters, which suggests they are equal. POV, hand held, close-up, Camera movement: Tracking, panning, wide shot, establishing shot, Arc, Tilt downwards Composition: Framing, rule of thirds, Sound: Sound effects, Dialogue, diegetic sound, synchronous, non-diegetic sound, Editing: Stretch time, visual effect, quick cuts, continuity editing, cutaways, slow motion.
