I designed a skyscraper that consists of two towers that share a base and a roof.
The towers are two separate hotels that are linked in the middle by a bridge that
is also a spa, swimming pool, game room and fitness cnetre, shared by both ho-
tels.They also share a roof, which is a dome housing a greenhouse that grows the
food for the hotels’ restaurant. My design comprises of a base which is a mixture
of the traditional, Arab stone structure, and a modern design of glass; two towers
that are complete opposites, where one is a complete traditional structure, made
of stone with gothic windows, while the other is fully modern.
My design, which mixes tradtional islamic architecture with modern architecture,
is representative of the present Dubai, which is a mixture of modern and tradi-
tional views, people, etc.
