The grade 2 listed building, located
in Bradford, required a modern
contemporary extension for use as an
indoor play area. CAPD worked closely
with the head teacher to ensure the
finished design and build was an inspiring
and adaptable space for reception aged
children. Special features include:
• mixture of traditional
and modern materials
• contemporary alumninium windows
• stairs leading to mezzanine structure
• organic larch cladding to exterior
• stonework and arch recycled from a
nearby mill (at the head teachers
request) to add history and character
to the new extension
