This document summarizes three major film magazines in the UK: Empire, which has been published monthly since 1989 with a circulation of around 120,000 and targets males under 40; Sight & Sound, the oldest magazine from 1932 published monthly by the BFI with a circulation of 17,000 that attracts an even split of males and females ages 25-60; and Little White Lies, a bi-monthly magazine since 2005 with a circulation of 60,000 that appeals equally to males and females between ages 15-40 through covering art-house films.
