Fats The fact is; we all need Fats, helps nutrients absorption, nerve transmission, maintaining cell membrane integrity etc. Fats are not created equal.
BAD FATS!!!! Bad fats are the extra fat in meats like bacon,chicken,lamb and etc. These fats are responsible for heart diseases. Bad fats are those artery clogging saturated fats from meat and diary products. These fats are solid at room temperature. These fats raise total blood cholesterol as well as LDL cholesterol. Some plant foods such as coconut oil,palm oil and palm kernel oil and also packaged foods like French fries and microwaved popcorn and hard stick margarine. The key is to replace bad fats with good fats in our diet.
GOOD FATS!!! Good fats are from nuts (walnut, peanuts,  avocado and almonds). Seafood like salmon and fish oil, as well as corn, soy,safflower and sunflower oils are high in good fats. Omega 3 Fatty acids belong to this group. These fats have been found to help in weight loss particularly body fat.
