Max Ingrand was a French artist who became artistic director of FontanaArte in 1954. In 1955, he created the AShanghai lamp, one of FontanaArte's iconic designs. The lamp features triangular supports made of colored crystal glass rods that form balanced compositions reminiscent of the Shanghai game. Pietro Chiesa worked with raw materials for his designs at FontanaArte and created lamps such as the Mano in 1932 and Corteccia table in 1937.
