This paper analyzes a neural network-controlled photovoltaic (PV) interfaced hybrid active power filter (HAPF) for harmonic compensation in nonlinear loads. The proposed system employs maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to enhance the efficiency of the PV array and utilizes an adaptive linear neural network for accurate reference current generation, ensuring stable capacitor voltage. Simulation results demonstrate the system's effectiveness in reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) across various load conditions.
