Technology has advanced tremendously over the centuries. Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, which was a huge achievement at the time but is now commonplace. If rocket technology advanced so much in 100 years, imagine what is possible. Albert Einstein developed his theory of relativity, which was initially dismissed but is now used everyday. Columbus had no technology when he crossed the Atlantic 500 years ago, but now we have skyscrapers and other modern structures. If technology has evolved this much already, what may be possible in another 100 years will seem ancient to people in the future.

1. There have been extraordinary changes in technology, science and architecture over the years. Lets take Neil Armstrong for example; he was the first man on the moon. At the time, that was one of the greatest achievements mankind has ever made, but now, people go to the moon every day and nobody thinks anything of it. If rocket ships have advanced that much in the past 100 years, then imagine what we are capable of.<br />Now, think of Albert Einstein. He invented the theory E=mc2, but before his time it was known as radiation pressure, or when a beam of light pushes against matter. When Einstein figured out his theory, no one believed him. But, now we use it in our every day lives. <br />When Columbus came across the Atlantic Ocean, he had NO technology what so ever. When he came over, he had to start from scratch, but that was 500 years ago. Now, instead of rundown buildings, we have skyscrapers, statues, bridges, and such, which they didn’t have. If we expect technology to evolve, then we can only advance so fast. Think, it’s only been 500 years and look where we’ve come.<br />If we are this far already, in 100 years, the present people will think that our technology is ancient. So if we think we are good now, think about the technology in movies and if it was real in your lifetime, because it very well could happen. <br />Isaac Newton made some great scientific achievements as well. He expanded the laws of science by arguing that orbits (like planets and comets) were not only elliptical, but also hyperbolic and parabolic. He then developed Newton’s law of cooling, binomial theorem, and studied the speed of sound in air. <br />Leonardo Da Vinci made some great contributions to technology. During his lifetime, he was in the renaissance. Some of his mast famous inventions were the first parachute, it had linen cloth wrapped around a pyramid of wooden poles. He also created the first plane, painted the Mona Lisa, and the last supper<br />Technology has changed so much over the years; just think of how much we will have learned in the next decade or even century! <br />
