This document discusses different approaches to social change, including integrationist, anti-systemic, and non-hegemonic approaches. It provides examples from Australia, such as constitutional recognition of Indigenous peoples, live export campaigns, and vegan advocacy. Non-hegemonic approaches create alternative societies through small-scale experiments rather than seeking to replace existing power structures. They can render existing structures redundant and provide examples of meaningful change without universalizing or orienting toward power holders like the state.
