This document provides an overview and instructions for using the R Companion for Experimental Design and Analysis for Psychology. It introduces R, an open-source statistical programming language, and provides code examples for common statistical analyses used in psychology including correlation, regression, ANOVA, and planned comparisons. The goal is to help users familiarize themselves with basic R scripts for analyzing experimental data from designs presented in the related textbook Experimental Design and Analysis for Psychology. Examples include analyses of memory experiments investigating the effects of imagery, context, and other factors.
