1. Examples Of Process Analysis Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Examples Of Process Analysis Essay" presents a unique
challenge. First and foremost, the task involves a level of meta-analysis, as it requires not just
discussing process analysis essays but also providing examples of such essays within the essay
itself. This adds a layer of complexity as it necessitates a deep understanding of the genre along
with the ability to dissect and exemplify it effectively.
Additionally, finding suitable examples to illustrate various processes can be demanding. It
requires thorough research to identify processes that are both relevant to the topic and can be
articulated clearly within the confines of the essay. Moreover, selecting examples that are diverse
enough to showcase the versatility of process analysis essays further intensifies the difficulty.
Furthermore, there's the challenge of striking a balance between theoretical discussion and
practical illustration. The essay must delve into the concepts and theories behind process analysis
essays while simultaneously providing concrete examples to elucidate these ideas. Achieving this
equilibrium requires meticulous planning and precise execution to ensure that the essay remains
coherent and informative.
Lastly, the task of writing an essay on this topic demands creativity in presenting the examples.
Merely listing processes without engaging narrative or insightful analysis would render the essay
dry and uninteresting. Therefore, infusing the examples with compelling storytelling or analytical
commentary is crucial to captivate the reader's attention and effectively convey the essence of
process analysis essays.
In conclusion, composing an essay on "Examples Of Process Analysis Essay" necessitates a
blend of research, analytical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. It is a
challenging endeavor that requires careful planning and execution to successfully demonstrate
the intricacies of process analysis essays through illustrative examples.

Did you know that a soldier in the Iraq war wrote about his experience during the
war? A soldier in the Iraq war documented his experiences and his thoughts while
the war was escalating. He talked about the intimidating and joyful times he
experienced. He leaves the story at a cliffhanger as he explains how he and his
friend didn t want to be the last people assassinated. In The Yellow Birds, the
author, Kevin Powers, uses personification and imagery in order to explain the
challenges and experiences he faced during the war. For instance, the author uses
personification to explain the feelings he is occupying and to explain the situation
he is stuck in. For example, on line 1, page 1, it states, The war tried to kill us in
the Spring. The quote explains that he feels as if the war is pursuing to kill him
because of the scenery in the background. The narrator explains that he knows he
will not be able to survive through the war. The quote also means that the war he
was faced it was deadly. In addition, the author uses personification to display that
the war was a person and the person was attempting to kill him and his allies.... Show

For example, on line 2 3, page 1, it states, We moved over them and through the tall
grass on faith, kneading paths into windswept growth like pioneers. The quote means
that the narrator and his allies moved through the tall grass and left a pathway behind
him. The author explains what he is doing and witnessing to help the readers
visualize the current situation that is taking place. The quote tells me to imagine the
scenery that he was presenting. Also, the author uses imagery to give the reader an
idea of what the setting looks like in the narrator s

Technique?
Interpersonal Process
It is a common knowledge that human beings are in no way not perfect, and so in the
life we live. Therefore it should not be a surprise to us that our romantic relationships
are not perfect either. Conflict is a romantic relationship inevitable, as it is a part of
it, in other words, the come hand in hand. Additionally, experts in the field stated that
it is in fact, conflict is a part of a healthy marriage, dating or growing romantic
relationships. It s important ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Due to this understand and respect for each individual in the relationship is crucial
as it aids in the longevity of the relationship as a whole. This also leads to the next
point of accepting differences as one need to learn how to accept the differences in
their partner in order to respect their choice.
It is difficult, but also very healthy in relational maintenance for a couple to accept the
differences in each other. Accepting that your partner would not be, as you want
them. This is very important because after that couples will stop having unrealistic
expectations. Unfortunately, in all couples interviewed, there are expectations the
partner will change. Overall, couples also tend to hold on to the unrealistic
expectation that their partner will one day change to what they expect the other
person to be.
It is easy to assume and also a common misconception that one s partner should know
the other s partner s wants and needs. However, this is often not the case in romantic
relationships. Due to these mental assumptions, this expectation poses as a source of
increased stress in romantic relationships. To rectify this problem, communication is
key. It is important, and heavily needed in a healthy relationship, to communicate
ones wants and needs to the
4. Essay about The Beef with TV
Television: Our Nations Drug of Choice
Television is our era s escape from what we now consider a chaotic struggle of life.
I think we as a people feel life can be solved in an hour long Monday night special
and that exact attitude is our society s problem today. Frankly we are a group of
cowards who do not take the bull by the horns; rather we retreat to routine episode
line up that we can supposedly relate to. Ladies and gentlemen we need to break
free like Plato s slave in the myth of the cave, by realizing that life is not Ragged,
loose and something hard to cope with (Dove) but rather a beautiful journey far off
into the beyond.

TV gazing can be detrimental to the human body. The body burns calories to a large
extent slower because of the immobility of watching the tube. Body metabolism and
calorie burning is an average of 14.5 percent lesser when watching TV than when
basically lying down in bed. A good question to ask as well is, mentally what does
the television shows do to our children s ability to function in the world? Kids,
mainly girls, are a more likely than grown ups to be portrayed as sufferers of
brutality on the box, and this can make them more terrified of the world they live in,
rendering them incapable of normal functions, such as commuting to work, walking
in parks, etc. etc. Some of the most violent TV shows are children s cartoons
(Dragon Ball Z, Batman, Looney Tunes), in which violent behavior is seen as cool
and at time entertaining and the real outcome of bloodshed are not really revealed,
leaving today s youth to make their own ending to the coyote s unfortunate plummet
100 stories up.
Whatever happened to the inevitable but informative Birds and the Bees speech from
our parents? Youngsters nowadays are surrounded with sex symbols, sexual
references and images in all popular fads whether it be television, advertisements,

5. Interview With Teachers
I asked Mrs. Barkley if she worked with other teachers to plan and jointly facilitate
learning; she told me that she personally does not. She said that she never combines
classes or teaches with another teacher in the same classroom. She said the only thing
that the teachers do together is come together in meetings and discuss progress of
their classes and test scores. This came as a shock to me, I thought that teachers
would be meeting often to combine curriculum in a way that s meaningful. I thought
that teachers would want to allow for cross curricular projects to allow students to
make the connections between subjects. When I am a teacher, I would like to work
with other teachers to jointly facilitate learning, if possible.

Barkley definitely took on a leadership role at the high school. When other teachers at
Glencoe heard that I was observing Mrs. Barkley they all told me that she was an
incredible teacher. She was a teacher that the rest of them looked up too. I even
heard people say she should be the teacher of the year. So Mrs. Barkley is
definitely a leader with other teachers. Not only is Mrs. Barkley a leader with
other teachers, but she is also an incredible leader and facilitator in the classroom. I
observed her ninth grade biology class, that was supposed to have students with
disciplinary and learning problems, and her sweet kind hearted nature (with a little
strictness) took control of her classroom. She was able to get the most struggling
kids to get involved in classroom discussion. Mrs. Barkley would ask questions to
kids who were not paying attention, or who were falling asleep, and they would
slowly get back into the material and become interested in the topic again. In
summation, Mrs. Barkley definitely took on a leadership role in the classroom; I
hope one day I can manage a classroom as well as

EBay and the Existence of Firms
As a global online auction market, eBay provides people a new way to do online
shopping, not only by purchasing a product at a certain price, but also by the unique
auction format. Through auction procedure, sellers can earn more than the base price
in their mind and buyers can bid the price up to the most they can afford.
By setting up a convenient platform to gather sellers and buyers together, eBay
reduces lots of searching costs as other websites expend. However, there are still two
major problems which can lead to transaction costs for an unregulated online auction
market: Adverse selection and moral hazard. Adverse selection occurs when

7. The Legacy Of Hesse By Eva Hesse
Sculptor Eva Hesse (born in 1936) passed away at the age of 34 from a brain
tumour. Her Unbelievably short life left an impressive body of work that continues
to inspire countless generations of artists. Hesse formed a unique language through
her use of fluid materials ideas around fetishism and psychology influenced the
work and her abstract minimalist sculptures often contained anthropomorphic
elements. The Legacy of Hesse is accredited to her connecting minimalism with
human presence Hesse moved the work of minimalism on from its manufactured
use of materials By working closely with the substance and accidents of material
process Hesse thought it might be possible to break out into a radically different
realm. The resulting work would be, in her own words a non, nothing, everything,
but of another kind, vision, sort. From a total other reference point. (Lippard 1976)
She honed her skills in school with abstract expressionist painting and drawing,
Hesse is most notorious for her sculptures that are made out of industrial materials
and everyday, found objects (theartstor.com). By using materials such as latex,
rubber, rope, and rubber tubing among others to create her works, Her works often
brings the viewer into an intensely personal situation, without feeling overly
sentimental. Hesse stated that she saw her practice as the unity of both art and her
own life and her works are powerful in that they deliver, When I look at Eva Hesse

Flexible single master operation (FSMO) Roles should be assigned to ensure the best
recoverability and operation of your Domain Controllers.
Some of the questions that should be asked when you are determining the FSMO
roles and the Global Catalogue (GC) placement are:
1. How many Domain Controllers are in your environment? If there is only one
DC in your environment (Not recommended) then all the roles will be on the same
server and I would recommend that there should be no more than 20 users. If you
have more than 20 users you should have at least two DCs. Two domain controllers

The schema master domain controller controls all updates and modifications to the

The domain controller holding the domain naming master role controls the addition
or removal of domains in the forest.
Domain wide operations master roles
Every domain in the forest must have the following roles, relative ID (RID) master,
primary domain controller (PDC) emulator master, and Infrastructure master
These roles must be unique in each domain which means that each domain in the
forest can have only one RID master, PDC emulator master, and infrastructure master.
The RID master allocates sequences of relative IDs (RIDs) to each of the various
domain controllers in its domain. At any time, there can be only one domain
controller acting as the RID master in each domain in the forest.
Whenever a domain controller creates a user, group, or computer object, it assigns
the object a unique security ID (SID). The SID consists of a domain SID, which is
the same for all SIDs created in the domain, and a RID, which is unique for each SID
created in the domain.
To move an object between domains (using Movetree.exe), you must initiate the
move on the domain controller acting as the RID master of the domain that currently
contains the object.
The PDC emulator master processes password changes from client computers and

10. Essay on Robert Browning
The Jealous Monk
Robert Browning s, Soliloquy of the Spanish Cloister involves a jealous monk with
much hatred of, Brother Lawrence, the perfect monk. Irony, diction, and syntax are
clearly evident in this dramatic monologue.
Throughout the poem the nameless monk is constantly expressing his anger and
sarcasm through the use of syntactical irony. This particular monkis angered at a
fellow monk, as evidenced by quot;If hate killed men, Brother Lawrence, God s
blood, would not mine kill you! quot; which seems ironic knowing he is a religious
monk. He is taking out his anger to a great extent, which is not good church practice.

As a monk, he plays the total opposite of an actual monk. He puts down the
innocent Brother Lawrence, when he himself is the rotten one. Browning
expresses certain words with diction. A monk does not watch girls wash their
clothes and hair at the bank. Steeping tresses in the tank, Blue black, lustrous, think
like horsehairs, the selfish monk does this, not the innocent Brother Lawrence. As
a monk, one should not look upon women showering themselves and washing
clothes. Being the opposite of a monk he also owns a dirty book, My Scrofulous
French novel...If I double down its pages at the woeful sixteenth print, he also
knows exact pages of the book to look at. Towards the end of the poem the monk
plans to rid himself of his fellow Brother, by sending him to Hell. He speaks of
slipping his French novel revealing quot;Belial s gripe, quot; Belial being one of
the classical devils of Hell, the Lord of Lies. One may determine that the monk
intends to present a false message to his Brother in order to damn his soul. It is
clear that he is not following his title as a monk; he is a traitor to his own name.
Throughout Browning s Soliloquy of the Spanish Cloister , he exposes different
devices used. Irony, diction, and syntax all play a major role in each stanza. By

Political candidates use different techniques in their campaigns, known as
propaganda, to win against other competing candidates. Their main purpose is to
gain more votes than their political opponents. What kind of propaganda campaign
should we expect from a reliable candidate? In order for the propaganda to be
successful, the propaganda needs to be informative, effective, and ethical. Three of
the techniques that embrace these three principles are endorsements, plain folks, and
coat tailing. Endorsements allow people to get associated with somebody who has
similar beliefs as them. Business leaders, politicians, and celebrities have the support
of various types of people who can compare their thoughts with confidence.

19. Theme Of The Past In Station Eleven
A recurring theme in the book Station Eleven is the past and its importance. There
has been conflicting feelings about whether or not they should continue to remember
and teach people about the past. I believe it is important to remember the past and to
learn where you came from even if it is not all good.
In the book Kirsten struggles to remember the past. She decides she does not want to
remember the past because she will remember all that she had lost. This is true but
I feel you can lean from these losses and become stronger for it. All of those who
survived the collapse in Station Eleven have a similar story of loss but the fact
they made it through the hardest part shows they have lived and learned. They
know what it takes to survive and its because they have grown as people. These
losses can drive people to set goals for the future and improve people s lives. This
is where Kirsten contradicts herself. She says she does not want to remember the
past but when she finds out about the town with electricity she becomes excited.
This shows the the past is not something to forget. If people just decided to forget
the past there would not have been the drive to get back the electricity they had lost

seem to drag on the longest. It is hard to remember the good when everything seems

is when times are at their hardest. Even if remembering the good times makes you

Most Aerospace companies prefer an employee to have more than three years of
experience in the field before working full time. A bachelor s degree is the lowest
amount of education, as previously stated. This job even requires good
communication skills and the ability to work in groups. For most of these jobs an
individual must be able to obtain a security clearance. They also tend to accept
degrees other than aerospace degrees, such as mechanical engineering and electrical
engineering degrees.
The national average salary for aerospace engineers is around $79k. The lowest
salary for entry level engineers is $54k. Experienced engineers can range from a
salary of $77k to $140k. Late career engineers can have salaries ranging from $90k
to $172k. The annual mean wage for aerospace engineering is the highest in
Colorado, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The employment is expected to
decline two percent by 2024 because of the decrease in air

23. Golden Square Mile 19th Century
The Golden Square Mile, once home to Montreal s upper class citizens, is an area of
one square mile lined with beautiful Victorian homes, public parks and a profusion of
architectural masterpieces. Originally not more than a public, informal meeting space,
Dorchester Square was slowly transformed from a rural area, to a quiet, residential
space, to a bustling commercial hub. Through this shift, one can view how radically
city spaces can change, mirroring the social and economic conditions of a population.
In the late 18th century, Dorchester Square was the site of a small Jewish cemetery
and, in the turning of the 19th century, a Catholic burial ground was added to the
east. The city administrators wanted a rural cemetery further away from ... Show more

Bourget, spawned the construction of several other religious buildings. The
construction of St. George s Anglican
Episcopal Church in 1869 was beginning to form a dividing line between the estates
and suburbs of the North West and the commercial areas to the East. All the churches
as well as the
Noutsios 2 residential and commercial complexes contributed to the centralization of
the square by appointing it as a meeting point and formalizing it as a prestige location.
From then on, the construction of bourgeois houses and mansions divided Victorian
Montreal into two distinct poles: the rich municipalities on the hillsides of Mount
Royal and the poor sectors on the lower terrace. The well off merchants, lawyers
and businessmen, according to political writer, Stephen Leacock, [enjoyed] a
prestige in that era that not even the rich deserve (Marsan 258). Meanwhile, the poor
were struggling to adjust to the social and economic realities. The erection of
remarkable estates like the Prince of Wales Terrace, the
McTavish house and the Trafalgar house gave off a sense of dignity and showcased
24. Narrative Essay About Independence
I was in a sea of people, all jumping to the beat of the music. Sure, some of the
people had never heard the songs and were just present, but most people, including
myself, were having the time of their lives. From one song to the next, people were
crowd surfing and dancing as if they would never run out of energy. My older
sister, Janelle, was by my side, traveling across the vast lawn from one stage from
another. Live music was practically booming all around me from all kinds of
artists, with the sun beating down mercilessly. In what felt like a few exchanges
of words, I was by myself. My sister wasn t locked to my hip for my safety, and I was
navigating my way through the crowds of people. The independence felt great.
With thousands of people around me and eighty bands to play on the lineup, it was
a big deal to go to a concert by myself, let alone a whole string of concerts. As I got to
the stage, I watched the stage managers set up, and I slowly wiggled my way to the
front of the crowd. Sure, there were... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I caught up with my sister, to take a break in the shade of a tree. Don t tell mom you

trusted with it was definitely a new feeling.
In the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper E Lee, there are parts where the
characters lives reflect my experience. For example, on pages 37 38 the book
discusses the idea of the children playing independently. Atticus trusted them to be
mature with their games and entertain themselves. At that point, the children were
considered to be mature enough to take care of themselves.
In my experience, I was trusted to be independent. This was a huge change, because
I wasn t in a place where I could be watched or monitored. This taught me a lot about
interacting with others and being responsible for myself. Throughout the day, I
became my own responsibility. I was in charge of my own schedule, hydration, and
25. The Reluctant Fundamentalist Analysis
Lover or Foe
In The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Moshin Hamid, The main character Changez
experiences life both as an American and as a Pakistani. The setting take place in a
restaurant in Lahore and Changez is talking to a stranger to our knowledge about his
endeavors in America. Changez is in America, and finds himself becoming more and
more fond of the American lifestyle and even meets a girl named Erica who he first
thinks is the love of his life. Fast forwarding into the future Changez s job is not all
as great as he thinks and America in general is not the dream he thought he had
been living, Changez soon figures this out after his relationship with Erica
becomes a total bust and his job isn t the amazing job he thought it was, and he
soon feels like a slave to America and the American ways of life. He ends up
returning to Lahore back home and becomes a professor at a university, and is an
advocate to disengagement from America to Lahore. Within this novel Hamid shapes
the protagonist, Changez, as someone who is sincerely both a lover and critic of
America. Changez truly does love America, at least in the beginning, because it
was like his relationship with Erica: you first meet a person and you like what you
see, and you get to know that person and start developing feelings and enjoy being
with that person, like he did being in America, but when he started finding out bad
things or things she was doing he did not like, like he did when he found out
America was bombing near his country. When Changez found this out he felt in a
sense betrayed. It doesn t mean that he doesn t love America anymore, but he was
simply unaware and now that he s aware he became a critic as well as a lover.
There are many people who travel to America under the impression that they will
be Living the American Dream and before see nothing but love for America. That is
exactly what we seen happen with Changez when he first came to America and we
see his love for it grow. Changez at one point is embarrassed to admit he is actually
from Pakistan when he started working for a huge American company by saying, To
be reminded of this vast disparity was, for me, to be ashamed. But not on that day.
On that day, I did not think of
26. Death And The King Horseman Analysis
In an interview with The Guardian (2009) Wole Soyinka explained that the
motivation behind writing Death and the King s Horseman was a bust of colonialist,
Winston Churchill. To Soyinka, Churchill signified the breaking of the Yoruba
culture and traditions. The idea for the play came from an instance during the
colonial period in Nigeria, when the British intervened in the traditional suicide of a
king s horseman.
The title itself already makes reference to a Nigerian ritual in which the horseman
of a king must kill himself after the death of the king (McNulty, 2011:2). The
biggest event of cultural misunderstanding is evident in Act II when the British
Officer, Pilkings, orders that Elesin Oba (the horseman) be arrested. Joseph (the
stableboy) tells the Pilkingses how it is tradition for the king to be burried a
month after his death but, before he can be burried, his dog, his steed and his
horseman must die to be able to accompany him to heaven. For long this tradition is
questioned and contested by the Pilkingses because how can something like that
make sense to anybody? It is only once Olunde shows up in Act IV that the
playwright changes the context. Olunde compares the suicide of the horseman to
the mass killing of soldiers. He judges the Western customs of war in the same way
the Westerners criticized his traditions and people. And when Simon manages to
stop Elesin from killing himself, Olunde turns his back on his father at first, after
which all the people from the market insults Elesin. His failure in the task is seen as
a weak will.
Another custom that is present is when, in Act II, the officer and his wife are getting
ready for a ball and Amusa shows up. Amusa refuses to speak to Pilkings because of
his costume, a uniform the Yoruban culturebelieves brings death. He tells Pilkings
to put on other clothes as It is a matter of death. How can a man talk against death to
a person in uniform of death? p25. The British officer cannot understand the rubbish
because it is not part of his customs. To him it is clothing a fun outift to wear to the
ball with no abilitiy to cause death. But no matter how he tries to explain it, Amusa
keeps strong in his belief.
A simple thing to a Westerner, such as a

28. Example Of Conflict Theory
Poverty is often determine by race and ethnicity, in Cohen words America Indians,
Latinos, and African Americans are all about three times more likely to be more
poor than Whites (Cohen 2015: 129) The article How Black Middle Class become
poor Adults by Gillian B White backs this statement up. The article talks about how
black parents that live in the middle class are more likely to see their kids go down
the ladder and become poor. This theory exist because black children don t have the
same educationthat a white can have growing up, when a black kid grows up the
chances of them becoming single parents are 4 out of 10 and because they still face
segregation in some work places that don t let them progress, the povertyamong

Supporting this statement Cohen explains the following The best chance for children
from poorer families to move up comes from expanding higher education system. But
children from higher social classes are much likely to make through that system
and emerge into a privilege class in adulthood (Cohen 2015: 144) this problem of
wealth inequality is connected to the conflict theory. The conflict theory states
that Society is divided because inequalities in wealth, power and prestige, only
benefiting some people. Privileged individuals are the ones who make a living out
the power and prestige that they have in society, the power and prestige come from
the social capital that only the rich have. Belonging to a group, such as family or an
exclusive club, makes it possible for people to draw from the resources held by all of
its members (Cohen 2015: 117) Let s look at this way, rich people have the
availability to stay rich because they know people who can help them either get a
good job or because they simply have the money to put their kids in good schools and

ABSTRACT This study examines the relationship between self monitoring and self
esteem. 150 college students from De La Salle University, Manila participated in this
study. By using Self Monitoring Scale (SMS) and Self Esteem Rating Scale (SERS),
the participants were asked to answer these questionnaires. The ratings from the
scales were used to measure participants self monitoring and self esteem. Based on
the results of this study, coherent with the previous studies on the topic, it could be
inferred that self monitoring of a person whether high or low of has a significant
effect on self esteem may it be high or low. Findings show that with r = 0.92, there is

In the article by Weieter in 1997 different information were given regarding self
monitoring. High and low self monitors have certain trait that is distinct to each of
them . High self monitors are really conscious about expressions, self presentation,
physical attributes. On the other hand people who are low self monitored are
more likely to look internally. Low monitors are more concerned with the inner
perspective, they feel that they are personally contented and need not to be that
socially inclined, and they focus on the relevant aspects of personality. This are
the inward and outward orietation that were discussed to identify specific
differences between high self monitored and low self monitored people. In the
case of self esteem specific traits also were in order to know if a person has a high
self esteem or low self esteem. In the definition given by Anthony et. al (2007) self
esteem is a barometer of one s past, present, and future perceived relational value.
People with high self esteem are more socially inclined compared to those of with
low self esteem. For low self esteem they are the ones who possess more contentment
that they hardly rely on their social condition.
Statement of the Problem
This study aims to know the effects of self monitoring to self esteem. Specifically it

PROSPECTUS
Background of the Project
The role of English in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Languages have a prominent
status in all societies and in all developed and developing countries. The languages
take this status because they are devices for communicating between humans. In
many countries, there is more than one language that the people speak. In the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for example, the Arabic language is the official language in
the country, and the English language is the second language that the citizens speak.
The English language has a remarkable role in various sectors in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia.

both electronic and print media in Saudi Arabia (p.114). The country has many TV
stations, and one of these stations has all English content. Also, it has a radio
station, which has many English programs. Finally, English has a big role in the
employment system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al seghayer (2012) asserts,
competence in and knowledge of English opens doors for Saudi citizens and gives
the rank and file employees opportunity for advancement (p.2). The country has many
private companies that are established by foreign people who speak the English
language professionally, and they are demanding employees who speak and write
English. So, English is important to employment in Saudi Arabia.
History of English teaching and methodology: Teaching English in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia has undergone several changes. The starting of teaching English was in
1925 (Liton, 2012). This starting point was different between public schools and
private schools. First, the government established public schools, and the Ministry of
Education managed them. As a result, these schools do not charge any tuition to the
people who live in Saudi Arabia. The English language was taught from seventh
grade to twelfth grade in public schools. The method of teaching English in public

to the antibiotic neomycin, streptomycin, or polymyxin B ( Yours child s , 2015).
For varicella vaccine, I would verify if Max has an allergy to gelatin or neomycin
antibiotic ( Chickenpox , 2008). With Hepatitis A, Max wouldn t get this vaccine
if he was allergic to latex ( Hepatitis A , 2011). Copy of vaccine information
statements, available also on CDC website, would be provided to mom. I would
also educate mom that every vaccine, like medication, has side effects. She can
expect to see redness, tenderness or swelling where the shot was given or mild
fever. Max can be a little bit more fussy, tired, has poor appetite, or he can vomit after
receiving vaccination. These symptoms are normal after vaccination for 1 2 days (

The biggest challenge Karen faced in the movie and her life was the barrier she had

Throughout the history of Latin American countries, like Peru there has been
dramatic change in the overall way of life. These changes are largely due to external
influences on the international level such as the Spanish conquest of Andean
territories. However no matter whether the process of change was political, economic,
social or cultural, they all have similarities and are interconnected. These different
types of change are closely intertwined and influence one another while linking the
local level of life with foreign (on an (inter)national level) events and forces. Also

As a result the Peruvian indigenous people set up multiple ecological zones along
these mountain sides (slopes) to increase the efficiency of their production. This
technique known as verticality let the people diversify their subsistence strategies
and become more self sufficing. This division of production zones were setup into
four distinct production zones. Some of these zones were used for animal
domestication and tuber production while others were used for the production of
certain crops (maize, potatoes, tropical fruits, coca ) that grew best at their zones
climatic conditions. These indigenous people would then travel to different zones
throughout the day to manage and exploit these lands. However the distances
between these four zones were extreme in some measures. Therefore in order to
increase traveling efficiency, these people would settle in the middle of these
ecological zones to give each production division adequate attention. Another
important feature of the Incan indigenous agricultural system was water. In order to
conserve water and structure it s usage most efficiently, the people followed the
value of equity. They saw water as a form of common property that belongs to
everyone. As a result they handled water management by abiding to the two specific
principles of uniformity and proportionality. The people controlled and developed the
land so that everyone received water with the same frequency. Therefore if everyone

Peer interaction and relationship is one of the most important interpersonal skills that

stories about their military service and how much they learned. Most of my cousins
that joined only joined because of these stories and the lavish lifestyles they have

me, or the war letters from my deceased grandfather. For some reason it was my
mothers dream for me; probably because its always something she wanted to do
but was afraid, a fantasy I wasn t quite ready to live in for her or them. I remember
high school. Everyone I was close to was in JROTC. I would watch them in

uniforms. To me it was all a big joke; quite funny to say the least. I mean, really,
how many took this seriously? It wasn t like it was really being in the army. It was
just for show. Either way I know for sure that I didn t. I was always asked to join
for the next year and told how it could benefit me, but somehow I always found
myself politely declining. I would begin to walk as fast as I could feel giddy inside.
I was still immature and had the mindset that being all you could be didn t look like
that at all. I pictured strong and arrogant
42. The Physics Of Continuum Mechanics
In continuum mechanics, a Newtonian Fluids is a fluid that the viscous stress
arising from its flow, at every point, are linearly proportional to the local strain rate.
The reason we research Newtonian Fluids is that Newtonian fluids are the simplest
mathematical models of fluids that account for viscosity. In natural world, there are
many common liquids and gases that can be assumed to be Newtonian Fluids. For
example, water, alcohol, thin oil, air, and most of pure liquids. Newtonian fluids get
the name by Isaac Newton, who is one of the most famous scientists in the world. He
is the first person who found the relation between the rate of shear strain and shear
stressfor such fluids in differential form. Newtonian Fluids can be also called linearly
viscous fluid, which has been found to describe adequately the mechanical behavior

Fluids, we need to understand the concept of fluids.
A liquid is a nearly incompressible fluid that will suit to the its container s shape.
However, its volume always independent of pressure. There are four basic states of
matter. They are solid, gas, plasma, and liquid. Besides, Liquid is the only state
with a definite volume but no fixed shape. Water is the most common liquid on
Earth. Liquid and gas are similar in many ways. Both of them can flow and take the
shape of a container. However, most liquids cannot be compressed as others. Also
liquids will not to
43. Germany s The European Central Bank
In this essay, I will argue that Germany has captured the European Central Bank
(ECB). The ECB sets monetary policy for the Eurozone, which includes all nineteen
countries that uses the Euro. Monetary policy, according to the Keynesian Phillips
Curve, can either pursue low inflation or low unemployment. Using this assumption,
to prove my hypothesis that Germanyhas captured the ECB, I will provide evidence
such as what German policy compared to Eurozonepolicy compared to ECB policy,
and how the charter of the ECB promotes German interests, and newspaper articles
that show how Germany is perceived in other European countries.
To first understand if the European Central Bank has been captured, we should
recognize what capture would look ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Traditionally sovereign countries control both their own monetary and fiscal policy.
Eurozone countries now directly control only fiscal policy, which affects spending
and taxation. They leave monetary policy, how to react to inflation and
unemployment, in the hands of the ECB. Capturing the ECB would grant the captor,
Germany, specifically German politicians, more tools to keep their constituents
content. Capture would provide a strong economy for the captor, which every
German citizen would want. Finally, capture of the ECB allows Germans to present
themselves as not Nazis, not hegemons, and as dedicated to European stability. For
all of these reasons, capture of the ECB benefits Germany, and would encourage
Germany to seek capture. The first form of capture I mentioned was control of the
Governing Council, especially the Executive Board, of the ECB. Germany has not
done this. The evidence, a list of the nationalities of the members of the Executive
Board shows that the President of the ECB is from Italy, and the Vice President is
from Portugal (Europa European Union). Two Germans do serve on the Executive
Board, but three (including the governor of the German Central Bank) out of twenty
five is not a majority. This does not mean that Germany has not captured the ECB.
I believe that the mission of the

Health over Habit: The Smoking Epidemic Public smoking has been an issue for
people who do not take part in the smoking epidemic for as long as smoking has
been around. What people need to understand is that individuals who do not engage
in the activity of ruining their lungs are being forced into the act of involuntary
smokingrather they like it or not, and that is unacceptable. I whole heartedly feel the
government should intervene and ban public smoking, with no exceptions. Now
when we talk about the government doing something like banning all smoking in
public; the questioned in posed is the government over stepping it boundaries? the
answer to that is; I don t think so. True enough people have a right to smoke, and I m

Secondhand smoke is by far, worse than first hand smoke, and the effects of it are
immediate on the cardiovascular system. Secondhand smoke causes numerous health
problems, especially in infants and children, including more frequent and severe
asthma attacks, respiratory infections, ear infections, and sudden infant death
syndrome (SID). Not to say adults are safer, secondhand smoke is also linked to
stroke, impaired lung function, Lung cancer, coronary heart disease, nasal irritation,
lower respiratory illness, and reproductive effects in women. All these are prevalent
in first hand smokers as well, and if we were to get into third hand smoking then the
topic would no longer be banning smoking in all public places but rather, ban
smoking in
45. Textual Analysis Of Wings Of Desire, By Wim Wenders
Wings of Desire Wings of Desire is a German film by director Wim Wenders
released in 1987. The scene I want to focus on for the textual analysis is the scene
in which the angel Cassiel attempts to comfort a suicidal man, but his attempts at
comfort fail when the man jumps off of a building, causing Cassiel to descend into
a spiral of grief and anger. The scene starts with a sound bridge between a shot of
birds in flight and a shot of a man sitting on the edge of a building. The sound of the
birds mixes with non diegetic music and the sound of the man s thoughts. The
viewers can hear his thoughts, which is symbolized by his non diegetic stream of
consciousness monologue. The actor s mouth does not move, but the viewers still
hear his monologue,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Then there are a few interlude shots of Peter Falk, before the montage, which is a
maelstrom of quickly paced short shots. The short, confusing shots serve to
disorient the viewer and put them in the same headspace as Cassiel, who is
grieving, as well as to create symbolic meaning. In between the handheld shots that
progress through the city, there are shots of people that are vulnerable or hurt.
There is a shot of a woman lying on a staircase, a shot of a man on a bench,
possibly an index pointing at him being homeless, a fighting couple, a child crying
for his mother, and footage that seems to be from during the war, intercutting with
shots of a bird s wings. Bird s wings are symbolically associated with angels, and
these shots intercut with shots of war and destruction, linking the two together, the
angel is the powerless witness of the war. The viewer understands the shots in the
montage to be from the angel s point of view; he is the one who sees all that pain
and carries the burden of comfort. Jump cuts are used as well throughout the
montage, for example in the shot of the women in the staircase, further increasing the
sense of frantic confusion, and an example of poetic rather than practical language, as
the information is not delivered in a straightforward
46. Case Analysis of US v. Emerson Essay examples
Case Analysis of US v. Emerson
This case deals with the Defendant s possession of a firearm while under a
restraining order, and the charges incurred by the Defendant for such firearm
possession. Under Texas law, the possession of a firearm by Mr. Emerson creates a
perceivable threat to members of his family, thus creating a violation of the restraining
order against him. Apparently common practice in Texas, the restraining order was
filed by Mr. Emerson s wife in conjunction with the papers filed for divorce. The
restraining order sought to enjoin Emerson from engaging in various financial
transactions to maintain the financial status quo and from making threatening
communications or actual attacks upon his wife during the pendency ... Show more

Emerson s possession of a firearm was construed as a perceivable threat to his family
and, therefore, a direct violation of the restraining order. Mr. Emerson argued that the
Act is an unconstitutional exercise of congressional power under the Commerce
Clause and the Second, Fifth, and Tenth Amendments to the United States
Constitution (United 2). The District Court addressed each claim separately, finding
credibility in only Emerson s Second and Fifth Amendment claims.
In Emerson s claim that the Commerce Clause was violated, he argued that the Act
did not regulate commercial activity, and was therefore an unconstitutional use of
congressional power. In claiming this, Emerson looked to the Supreme Court s
holding in United States v. Lopez, however, the District Court dismissed this claim,
citing a Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals decision which examined the validity of 18
U.S.C. В§ 922 (g)(8) under a Commerce Clause challenge, in which it held that the
Act was constitutional (United 3). Because of this ruling (in United States v. Pierson),

47. Single Life And Single Marriage Is Better To Be Single
Over the years there have been many studies that prove there are many health
benefits to being married. There are differences and advantages between single life
and married life. Physical health and mental health are areas of concern regarding
married couples and singles. Some studies have shown that overall happily married
couples have better healthwhile singles have several risk factors. More freedom may
come from being single while being married provides greater security and far
better health. For your health s sake is it better to be married or remain single?
Consistent research and studies have been conducted which show that being
married is good for your heart health and overall health. Married couples that are in
a happy intimate relationship have a lower chance of cardiovascular disease
compared to single people. Couples in a bad marriageare often stressed which can
lead to cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure and many other health
problems. Singles are at a greater risk for cardiovascular disease, autoimmune
conditions and depression because they don t always have emotional or physical
support. Doctors believe emotional, physical and strong family ties will lower
blood Khoulban 2 pressure and maintain a healthy heart. One of the few advantage
singles have is the time to exercise and take care of themselves to aide in being
healthy. Married couples don t have the same freedom because of their obligation
to their family. Most married couples both are working which prevents from
exercise. But overall marriage makes you healthier because of the health benefits,
mental health benefits, and living longer. Married couples and singles differ in their
responsibilities to themselves and families. Married couples are at greater risk for
weight gain than an unmarried person. Married couples have a tendency to get
settled and comfortable in their relationship which can contribute to the weight gain.
Also, married couples normally view themselves as off the market then a few years
into the marriage begin to let themselves go because they have found their mate.
Some feel like there s no longer a reason to watch their health or weight after

In early fifth century BC Greece, the Greeks consistently suffered from the threat of
being conquered by the Persian Empire. Between the years 500 479 BC, the Greeks
and the Persians fought two wars. Although the Persian power vastly surpassed the
Greeks, the Greeks unexpectedly triumphed. In this Goliath versus David scenario,
the Greeksas the underdog, defeated the Persians due to their heroic action, divine
support, and Greekunity. The threat of the Persian Empire s expansion into Greece
and the imminent possibility that they would lose their freedom and become
subservient to the Persians, so horrified the Greeks that they united together and
risked their lives in order to preserve the one thing they all shared in common, their...

The first battle of the Persian War, the Battle of Marathon, took place in 490 BC.
King Darius sent troops to Greece which stopped at each Greek island along the way
demanding earth and water, which both literally and symbolically represented
submission to the Persian empire. The Battle of Marathon exemplifies the heroic
action of the Greeks. The Athenians, led by one of their ten generals, Miltiades,
unflinchingly faced the Persians, an army over twice the size of theirs, and
triumphed. The Athenians won the Battle of Marathon because they employed
superior military strategy. There are some discrepancies, however, between different
literary sources about how the Greeks fought the Battle of Marathon. For instance,
Herodotus claims that the ten Athenian generals could not decide whether to go into
battle. He writes that Miltiades talked the other generals into fighting. Herodotus
writes that they waited for days for Miltiades to lead the army, and then they went
into battle (Hdt. 6.110 111.2). According to Nancy Demand, however, Herodotus,
unaware of the right of the polemarch to make all final decisions, wrote that Miltiades
decided when to lead the men into battle, because the longer they delayed the battle,
the better chance the Athenians had that the Spartans would make it in time to help.
Regardless of any conflict between sources, the heroism of the Athenians cannot be
denied. Marathon represents the victory of a small contingent of men fighting

Take a Bite Out of Breed Specific Legislation Imagine you are a proud dog owner,
having adopted a puppy from a local rescue not knowing what breed your new
bundle of joy is. As your puppy turns into an adult, it becomes obvious that your dog
is a mix or full bred American Pit Bull Terrier. You run into trouble moving into
certain communities, ranging from neighborhoods with homeowners associations to
apartment complexes. Even your insurance company is placing regulations and
additional fees on you based solely on the breed of your dog. If you are living in a
town that places a law forbidding your dog s breed following a high profile dog
bite case, you face the problem of having to move or the possibility for your dog to
be seized and possibly euthanized. Instances like the above happen today across the
country, as people run into problems with communities, insurance, and local laws
based solely on whether their dog fits into the characterization of certain breeds.

Education on dogs, their behavior, and proper ownership is vital for a reduction in
dog bites. As the majority of those bitten by dogs are children, we need to educate
them on proper dog interaction (Sacks et al. 837). A focused education on dog
safety and bite prevention around dogs needs to be built into the school education
system to target the largest group of victims. Programs with the main audience as
adults are also imperative by promoting owners to train and socialize their dogs in
order to keep them and their family safe. This can be done on a small level, where
rescues and shelters require any adopting family to go through dog behavior and
safety education. Or through a local level, where nonprofit organizations reach out
and hold bite prevention education programs to inform not only owners but everyone
who may come in contact with

People,
Relationships refers to bonds between two or more people, this can be romantic,
friendly, family or work related. People seek relationships because they must fulfill
their needs. One of our basic needs is to feel secure. We feel secure and safe when
we are with someone, for example, at night I don t like to be alone because I feel
unsafe but when I m with someone this feeling disappears it just gives you a
sensation of safeness. Also, people may decide to form relationships because of a
common interest, they might be studying the same subject or pursuing the same
goals in life so united their probability of making it are greater. Another factor can
be love, the need of physical touch or the need of affection can be factors of forming

this has ruined this rising developing country. Hugo Chavez governed the country

currently governed by his successor Nicolas Maduro and the situation has gone
worst, the country can t even afford hospitals with the essential medical supplies.
Maduro follows the same strategies as Chavez not listening to anybody and just
doing what he thinks is right for the country. Venezuela could have been a strong
country if it hadn t been for Chavez lack of listening skills. Listening means not just
understanding the message, but also understanding the emotions of the speaker. In
ordinary listening we hear the words and thinking Where do I agree? Where do I

speaker, we put our self in their shoes, we just don t listen to the words in
52. The Styl Style Of Anita Desai
Anita Desai undoubtedly holds a prominent position among the Contemporary
writers of Indo Anglican fiction. She is a bold and experimental Novelist with a
new sense and vibrant richness. Much attention is given to the emotional crisis of
her protagonists who live in a chaotic society. She delves deep to find out the factors
responsible for such a despair and attempts to suggest solutions to overcome it. From
her novels, it is clear that she, possesses one of the healthiest and psychologically
most balanced minds in the realm of Indo Anglican fictionand the sanity of her tastes
and attitudes, is almost exemplary, a point worth emulation for her fellow
religionists in the field of writing. As a woman writer she does not profess to be a
feminist and yet she voices the fears and concerns, the hopes and aspirations of her
characters in her own artistic way. She is deeply fascinated in exploring the social
structure through the central characters in her novels. She is a minute observer of the
society existing around her, perceiving everything minutely and delicately so that the
situations can be presented in a poetic style.

Alessandro Barbero wrote The Day of the Barbarians with the goal of informing the
reader of the eventual fall of the Roman empire. According to Barbero, the entire fall
of Rome centered around one battle which occurred at Adrianople. The book gives
the small details of which lead to the battle, but also how the battle effected the
Romans. As Barbero states in the his writings, the Goths, today s Germans, feared the
Huns who they believed would attack and overcome them. At the same time, the

Rawl s: A Theory of Justice
In our modern society where economic resources are gained by paid labor, there is
often room for an unequal distribution of wealth. Hence, a laissez fare or hands off
approach to the distribution of such economic resources will often case produce
problems and inefficiencies in a society. Rawls says in his writing excerpts, A Theory
of Justice from the Ethics in Practice textbook that a state ought to enforce constraints
on the distribution of wealth because some types of redistribution are unjust. Rawls
principle of justice revolves around a basic structure of society in order to regulate
agreements and specify social cooperation. It is used in order to establish what
agreements, governments and social issues will be established in accordance to the
place. Rawls argues that the principle of justice is just if and only if it was chosen
from the original position. Only Rawls principle of justice would be chosen from the
original position, therefore only Rawls Principle of Justice are just.
The original position is a hypothetical position from which we choose principles of
justice which are specifically designed to produce just principles of justice. The
only way the original position can work hypothetically is through a veil of ignorance
in which it is designed to prevent biased decision making when choosing principles
of justice. It is able to accomplish this is by making the
