Abstract: SPC (statistical process control) is an important tool to solve the
manufacturing problem and the most modernized effective scheme to obtain process
durability and fostering the process pertinence decreasing the variability. In
manufacturing system, products do not run up against the proper province of quality
permanently with the customer desire. This impermanency appears due to various
productions of variations like machines, operators, materials, etc. The main purpose
of control chart is to monitor the changes, and subsequently governing the scheme.
The study deals with controlling and upliftment of the quality of pipe through
checking and observing the pipe s height, diameter and weight from pipe industry.
From the investigation, X bar chart, S and R control chart are developed for the
variables. Furthermore, EWMA (exponentially weighted moving average) is used to
focus for identifying the small process shifts All of the investigation represent, the
process is in control or not. For the process out of control status, the assignable
causes behind it be marked out and foreclosed by taking proper steps.

Transformers is just the movie to bring out the kid in everyone. Big, loud and full
of testosterone fuelled car fantasies, Michael Bay s actioner hits a new peak for
CGI work, showcasing spectacular chases and animated transformation sequences
seamlessly blended into live action surroundings. There is no longer any question
whether special effects can be made more realistic but the issue is whether

There are approximately 630 visual effects shots in the film that had to be shot
individual shots in order to capture the proper theme of the storyline. Technical
advancements were made in environments, lighting, and simulation of physical
effects and integration of CG characters in a real environment. This movie was a true
success through the use of well known actors, and by using proper voice over acting
throughout this film. Actors such as Tyrese Gibson (SGT Epps), Magan Fox
(Mikaela Banes), and John Keller (John Turturro) just to name a few of the actors that
made this movie a huge success. The reason acting played a significant role in the
accomplishment of this movie was because they had to act without having the most
significant actors being present, the Transformers themselves. All the acting
conducted in this movie had to be conducted without the use of real robot actors
and most by standing in front of blue screens. By the use of editing the theatrical
scenes were superimposed into the background of the acting conducted. It took a
team of editors and computer programmers in order to accomplish this mission.
This leads us into our second topic for discussion, the type and style of directing

My Favorite Dog
As a little kid, I had always feared dogs. Actually, I guess you could say I was
scared to death of them. I never knew why, but the moment I spotted one of those
little, fluffy demons, I was running for my life. Eight years old and caked with dirt
from a Little League game I just finished, I headed over to the car. Sloppy mud
floating around in my shoe, I felt like I was walking around in a marsh. My dad
was driving the silver Toyota Matrix and playing one of his Rolling Stones albums,
full blast, almost stinging my ears. All the windows were open, letting the cool
April air smack my face as I looked out the window. It was refreshing, and my
Saturday could not have gotten any better. My dad turned into our long driveway

story, Anne Sexton s version of Cinderella is a dark and twisted version of the

The dove and his friends are a source of protection for Cinderella. The dove
gathered up all his friends and helped her pick up the lentils that her stepmother
threw, just so she could attend the ball. Near the end of the story, when the sisters
came to curry favor , the dove pecked their eyes out. Sexton uses vivid descriptions
and literary devices to develop imagery. The similes used such as, Cried forth like

lines, They don t just heal up like a wish and The other sister cut off her heel but

Corporation, an American energy, commodities and service firm at the time, would

based company swindled investors and managed to further their own wealth
through intricate, shifty accounting practices such as listing assets above their true

Introduction Is it because of families feed their children with unhealthy food due to
their income? This is important because in poor communities you don t get to see
a trader joes or a fresh markets all you see is fast food places like McDonald s,
Kennedy Fried Chicken and Chinese food, etc. There s no good food nearby. They
also have very low living conditions and low education. In the suburban areas though
you see fresh food markets and trader Joes etc. This is an issue in the United States
people are gaining weight due to the number of fast foodchains in their local

Our team decided to take the opportunity afforded to us by our Technical Writing
course to research something meaningful to the student body that could potentially
impact the future of Virginia Tech. Our instructor, Mr. Andrew Kulak, M.A.,
approved our proposal to investigate student commuter parking on campus to
determine if there were any troubling issues that could affect future innovation
projects for the campus community as a whole. Currently, our findings indicate
that there are indeed issues with the availability of commuter parking on campus.
This issue will increase as Virginia Tech attracts more students who wish to study at
our campus, and as more building projects take up space that was once used for
parking. Prior to the start of Goodwin Hall s construction in 2011, older campus
maps show that the space was once available parking ( Main Campus Map , 2007).
These additions to campus are never to be discouraged, and greatly benefit the
student body and campus community. The concern lies in the fact that while
additional buildings are being added to campus with the ability to attract a larger
student body there are no additional logistics projects under construction along with
