Example Of An Exploratory Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Example Of An Exploratory Essay" poses a unique set of
challenges for any writer. The intricacies lie not only in understanding the fundamentals of
exploratory essays but also in effectively demonstrating those principles through a well-
structured and engaging composition.
Firstly, an exploratory essay requires the writer to delve into a topic, investigating multiple
perspectives and potential solutions without necessarily presenting a definitive conclusion. This
demands a thorough understanding of the chosen subject matter, as well as the ability to
critically analyze various viewpoints and arguments.
Additionally, maintaining a balance between exploration and coherence can be challenging. The
essay must flow seamlessly, guiding the reader through the author's intellectual journey without
losing clarity or becoming disjointed. Finding the right blend of depth and accessibility is a
nuanced task that demands a keen awareness of the audience's expectations.
Furthermore, selecting an appropriate topic for exploration adds another layer of complexity. The
chosen subject should be broad enough to allow for diverse perspectives but specific enough to
maintain relevance. Striking this balance requires careful consideration and research to ensure the
essay remains focused and engaging.
In the process of writing an exploratory essay, grappling with the uncertainty inherent in the
exploration itself can be daunting. Unlike argumentative essays that aim to persuade, the
exploratory essay seeks to illuminate and understand, making it crucial for the writer to navigate
through ambiguity with finesse.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the intricacies of exploratory essays is no small feat. It
demands a combination of research skills, critical thinking, and effective communication to
create a piece that is both informative and thought-provoking. For those seeking assistance with
similar essays or any other writing challenges, a resource likeHelpWriting.net can be invaluable

Mergers should exhibit the following five characteristics in order to be considered
potentially viable candidates for a successful merger: 1. Compatibility between
company mission statements and direction. What are you trying to do? What are
they trying to do? If they relate closely, you have the first element. 2. Beneficial
economies of scale. If you will be larger, will you truly be better? Some larger
companies cannot respond as quickly to market changes due to their size and the
challenge coordinating new directions to employees. Economies of scale are not
always beneficial, so make sure you can quantify that having more of one direction
is what you want. 3. Cultural synergy. If one company s culture is jeans, foozball
machines, cut throat hiring/firing, and shoot from the hip decision making and your
company requires process and forms for most activities, good communication and
values employees highly (no layoff policy), you may have a
Slut-Shaming In Puritan Society
Visualize living in a society where slut shaming occurs every day and someone s
mistake is publicized to the point that everyone knows what happened. Some
people would believe this would be referring to the Puritan society that existed
during the 1600 s, but unfortunately, this is common situations that appear in today
s society. A famous person s error can show up on social media, covers of
magazines, and every talk show throughout America. For example, recently the
break up of the beloved Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie appeared everywhere in less
than a day. The breakup sparked news on twitter, talk shows such as Wendy
Williams, and prevailed to be the lead story on every tabloid by the following day.
Even though our society did not devise... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Our society uses one of the Puritans traditions as entertainment for others. For
example, the current society has established specials that air on Comedy Central
called Roasts , where a celebrity is ridiculed by other celebrities. The first Comedy
Central roast was aired on August 10th, 2003 and Denis Leary was ridiculed on stage
for the viewing of millions of people. Roasts have been around as far back as 1904
where the Friars Club held annual roasts. Their main motto was We only roast the
ones we love . At first, roasts were taken lightly and people would just have
innocent fun with friends and family. When Comedy Central started airing roasts
it changed the game. Roasts went from being innocent fun to making a mockery of
a celebrity. Even though the Puritans used the scaffold to generate a mockery of a
plebeian, it still happens today. When Hester was on the stage the townspeople
scorned her for her mistake. She left that day feeling dreadful, as a result of, the
words from the townspeople were so cruel and in 2016 it is still tolerable. In this
day and age, it is accepted to hire people to insult others to gain a laugh from other
people. This society accepts one of the Puritans traditions to such an extreme that it
is broadcasted for millions of people to observe. The only element that has changed
from the 1600 s to today is that technology is so advanced it allows everyone to find
enjoyment off this

Electromagnetic Radiation Is Good For Humans
Electromagnetic radiation is good for us humans because it helps us in many ways.
One example on why electromagnetic radiation is good for us is the uses it helps us
with. Uses like medical x rays, observing the internal structure of objects, airport
security scanners, and killing cancer cells. As it states in Ck12, Electromagnetic
Spectrum. Therefore, in our daily lives, we use many different radiation waves
without even knowing. Electromagnetic radiation describes and ranges the
wavelengths of all light going from radio waves to gamma rays. Electromagnetic
radiation is good for us humans, although they have disadvantages, there are more
good uses of electromagnetic radiation than bad uses of electromagnetic radiation.

Examples Of Greed In Virunga
If you give someone a little of something, then they will try to take more. This
feeling is known to all humans as desire or most notably greed. In director Orlando
von Einsiedel s 2014 documentary, Virunga, the positives and negatives of this
intemperance are shown through the Rangers of the Congo National Park Virunga
and the British Oil Company SOCO. Following Gorilla caretaker AndrГ© Bauma,
head park ranger Rodrigue Katembo, Chief Warden Emmanuel de Merode, and
French Journalist MГ©lanie Gouby the beauty of desire is revealed for eachs own

everything in their way for oil shows a darker greed exhibited by the world around

The two funerals in the film bring out the strongest of the Rangers as they show
their desire to protect the park. The funeral for the fallen Ranger shows the

Ndeze and Ndakasi, dead parents shows the Rangers desire to protect the park
evolves by honoring the dead Gorilla by carrying them to have a proper burial and
respecting them as if they were family. The act shows that these Rangers took this
and made it into something and then took more making something beautiful, in
reference to Ndeze and Ndakasi being safe with AndrГ©. In contrast, however, the
company SOCO got an inch in the possibility of oil in the park and nearby Lake

Cocain and amphetamines are Addictive and Dangerous
Essay
Cocaine and amphetamines are highly addictive and dangerous drugs that have
affected our society today. There have been various forms of cocaine and
amphetamines that have become popular and abusive throughout the United States.
The forms of cocaine are: powder and crack, and these two forms are seen as highly
dangerous to the individuals that abuse it. Also, there are several types of
amphetamines which have been noted to be just as addictive and dangerous as
cocaine. In this paper I will briefly discuss the different forms of cocaine and
amphetamines as well as discuss the treatment options used for individuals with
cocaine and amphetamineabuse.
According to Maisto, Galizio, Conners, (2011), there are two forms of cocaine that
consist ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, Methamphetamine brand name is Desoxyn and the slang names are speed,
crank, ice, etc. Methylphenidate brand name is Ritalin and Concerta and the slang
name is Vitamin R. Lastly, Methcarthinone, which is mostly used in Africa, slang
name is cat (Drug use and abuse, 2011, p. 120). Even though medically used
amphetamines are used to calm children diagnosed with attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), they are still considered to be an addictive and a
quite dangerous stimulant (Drug use and abuse, 2011, p. 120).
According to Emrick, Lassen, and Edwards (1977), the treatment options that are
available for individuals addicted to cocaine or amphetamines would consist of
peer self help groups (Drug use and abuse, 2011, p. 372). It was stated by Regier et
al., (1993) that a national survey showed over 1.5 million individuals in the United
States using self help groups to overcome their drug abuse (Drug use and abuse,
2011, p. 373). In the self help group, the individual must first be ready or motivated
to make the changes before attempting to join. There are also professional drug
rehabilitation facilities, but not all individuals are able to afford to attend those costly
facilities.
In conclusion, the different forms of cocaine and different types of amphetamines are
all considered addictive and dangerous to our society. Even though, there are
medicinal uses for cocaine and amphetamines, there are side effects that can make life
for the individuals
Fast Food Dangers
Dangers Of Fast Food Fast food is delicious, but is it deadly? Over the years the
fast food industry has made larger proportions to meet the growing demand. The
industry thrives off of competition, and is constantly trying to one up each other.
Places like Wendy s, Burger King, McDonald s, and Taco Bell provide large amounts
of food for a bargain. The creation of dollar menus and five dollar meal deals has
influenced more people to dine out. According to University Hospitals, 44% of
Americans eat out at least once a week, every day 34% of children consume fast food,
and children get 12% of their calories from fast food (North Ohio Heart). Fast food
is taking over people s diets. The 2004 Documentary Super Size Me talks about the
truth behind the fast food industry, but mostly McDonald s. Morgan Spurlock, the
producer and the man doing the experiment, decided that he wanted to see what
kind of effect that McDonald s could have on the human body. He decides to go on a
thirty day quest, where he only eats McDonald sfor breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His
reason for this experiment was to expose the results eating fast food has on your
body. Fast food is a big contributor to obesity, high cholesterol, heart failure, liver
failure, etc. Spurlock also mentions how advertising is how places like McDonald s
persuade people to eat at their restaurants. By placing billboards on the side of
highways and

Napolean s fall, Antonin went to London where he would cook for Prince Regent,

and shortly after leading back to Paris to cook for James Mayer Rothschild. Antonin
would be known as the creator of the Haute cuisine. The success of a career would

No Real Verbal Love And Emotional Relationship
We need to be in Chicago around two in the morning , he said to me before every
trip. He liked to put on this big affirmative voice every time we he was trying to be
serious. He looked at me with his arms crossed and his jaw locked. Waiting.
Waiting for a verbal confirmation to come from my mouth. Yes. I d say in a
monotone voice it became a second nature to say yes each time we were traveling.
One of his brows would scrunch up, and a smirk would lay upon his mouth,
knowing I hated verbally conforming to him. He would walk into his room and he
would turn off the light. I would walk to mine as well, no words where said
between us. That is how it was between us for many years, no real verbal love just
mental or emotional. My father and I have always been on a mental and emotional
relationship. He was not the normalfather by any means, but we communicated in a
way no one else could understand.
To say we communicated in a way no one else could understand was correct.
Almost all of our conversations are not said verbally. When I first started high
school this was pretty evident, he was almost like any other father afraid that I
would grow up too fast in high school. So he sat me down at the table, I was at one
end he was at the other. You could hear our separate breathing. The clock began to
tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick. The ticks got louder as the silence in the room got bigger.
His eyes held no emotion. I was not scared by any means. I looked up at him, the

Introduction
We are studying the reaction between zinc and sulphuricacid, the reaction is catalysed
by copper sulphate and this experiment is to test whether the amount of drops effect
the rate of reaction.

This reaction is catalysed by Copper sulphate (CuSO4)

Then the time was taken for the reaction to produce 20 cm3 of hydrogen. The
reaction was then repeated with different drops of copper sulphate.
Variables and Things that are kept constant
===========================================
The variables are the number of drops of the catalyst, Copper
Sulphate1 Drop,
2 Drops,
5 Drops,
7 Drops,
10 Drops and
15 Drops.
The things that are kept constant are the amount of zinc, the number of solution and
the strength of the acid, mixing the distilled water and the 2M acids carefully to
make 1M acids.
This is a fair test because the only thing that is changed is the drop of the copper
sulphate and that is what was measuring. We will be repeating the experiment to get a
better average.
The only thing that can make his test unfair is the pressure and the temperature, if we
wanted to be more accurate we would put the reaction in a bath to keep the
temperature constant as water heats up a lot slower than air so during the time it
takes to do the experiment the heat will remain the same.
Names and Quantities of the Solutions Used
==========================================
I will use 50cm3 1M Sulphuric Acid, H2SO4.To get 1M acid solution you add
25cm3 of Distilled water and of sulphuric acid in either measuring cylinders or a
graduated flask, which is more accurate.
I will use Copper Sulphate, CUSO4 as the catalyst. I will use the following amounts
of catalyst:
1 Drop,
2 Drops,
5 Drops,
7 Drops,

Frank Norris s Mcteague
Since the beginning of time, humans like animals, possess certain innate behaviors
that both are naturally born with. For example, animals are born, taken care of and
spend their life making sure they have enough food in order to survive and in the
end, reproduce. Similarly, humans also possess a natural instinct to survive,
consume, and reproduce in order to keep this on going cycle alive. The comparison
between humans and animals at time may disturb certain people due to the
simplification and degradation of the human race. However, it is this naturalistic
view in life that certain individuals believe should not be shielded from the public in
order to protect people and instead, believe it is necessary to educate as many people
possible in the reasoning and acceptance of mankind s innate actions. The novel
McTeague, written by Frank Norris, is a book that demonstrates an individual s
natural behaviors and desires which continues to be carried out by people today just
as it has been since the beginning of time. It is through McTeague, that Frank Norris
illustrates mankind s naturalistic behavior that not only grabs the attention of the
readers but infuriates the public as well.
Benjamin Franklin Norris, otherwise known as Frank Norris was born on March 5,
1870 in Chicago, Illinois. Throughout his life, Frank Norris attended school in Paris,
the University of California, and Harvard University which would later benefit him
by establishing relationships which would
Social Factors Of Indonesia Essay
Social Factors
Demographic dividend (Domestic issue) Positive factor
Indonesia population is 250 million, which on the 5th position over the world
(Central Intelligence Agency, 2014). The majority of the population age is between
14 to 30 years old. So Indonesia has been seen as a young country with the
demographic dividend. It provides more lost cost labour to boost the economy and
requires more job opportunities.
Consumer Culture (Domestic issue) Positive factor
Thompson stated that from a social and cultural point of view to examine the
consumption choices will benefit the country s economy (Thompson, 2005).
Therefore the understanding of Indonesian consumer s behavior is the priority of any
investment.
Religion is an important element in Indonesian society. Investors should note that
more than 90% population of Indonesia is Muslim which means the business must not
break the Muslim doctrines. However, individual purchasing power increased with
the strong economic growth in the past decade. The lifestyle of the younger
generation changed and easily adopts the western consumer culture, which reduced

education level and help economic growth.
As a consequence, how to recruit qualified talents becomes a critical challenge for

living in the capital area and Java islands, if companies look for talents outside the

Essay on Coach Bowden
Bobby Bowden began his lifelong love for football at an early age. As a young
child he would often climb onto the roof of his house and sit for hours watching the
local high school team run practice drills. Bobby played football while a student at
Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama and again in college, first at the
University of Alabama and then at Howard College (now Samford University).
Bobby s coaching career began in 1954 as an assistant coach at Howard College.
After working as an assistant coach at Howard for two years he was offered a head
coaching position at South Georgia Junior College. Bobby stayed with South

transforming the Seminoles into the team that it is today. Over the years he has
recruited many star athletes to come play football for Florida State including dozens
of All Americans, two Heisman Trophywinners and many star athletes that would
also become stars in the NFL.
The 1977 season brought Bobby his best season record to date finishing the season
at 10 2 and finally beating in state rival Florida after losing to them the previous nine
seasons. The Seminole squad was gaining much needed national exposure as the
media started praising Bobby and his team on their achievements. Bobby Bowden
was named the Bobby Dodd National Coach of the Year in 1980 and in 1983 and was
inducted in the Florida Sports Hall of Fame.
Over the next decade Bobby Bowden would lead his Seminoles to a post season bowl
game every season except 1981. The loss to Oklahoma in the 1981 Orange Bowl
would be Bowden s last loss in a bowl game for the next fifteen years. In 1987 Bobby
coached his Seminoles to what would be the first of a 14 year long streak in which
they won 10 or more games.
Bobby has coached many star athletes during his tenure as head coach including
Florida State s first Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward, Warrick Dunn, arguably
the most popular college football player of the 90s, and Chris Weinke, the

Literary Analysis Of Migraine By Twenty One Pilots
Migraine
Migraine, while it s usually known as gloriously painful headache, ask a teenager
and they will presumably say it s a hit song from the Ohio based synthpop, rap rock,
indie rock, and yes even reggae, band Twenty One Pilots. Underneath the techno beat
and flying piano notes, are lyrics with a profound meaning. The excellent lyricist,
Tyler Joseph, in a spit fire fashion, confronts many prevalent feelings and struggles.
Within the song, Tyler Joseph defends himself from his brain, that keeps sending him
depressing, and pessimistic thoughts. This song uses many allegories represented by
literal images. Migraine by Twenty One Pilots is a unique song that puts a voice to
the battles of the mind; it has a riveting theme, complex figurative imagery, and an
intriguing syntax.
Furthermore, the theme of this song is Tyler s migraine, although it seems like a
simple concept his migraine is due to his overworking head. In the song, Tyler
sings (Line 12) let it be said what this headache represents it s me defending in

Essay On The Hunt For Red October
Karl Marx popularized the communist slogan, From each according to his ability, to
each according to his needs . In Russia prior to 1991, communism was the form of
government and demanded complete subordination of self to the greater good of the
collective. The Hunt for Red October shows a major contrast between Soviet and the
American lifestyles. It was a fight between differences in political ideology;
capitalism versus communism; liberty versus equality. It is the American belief in
freedom that provides us the opportunity to strive to be better and accomplish more
both individually and collectively.
This story takes place in the 1980 s during the Cold War when tensions between the
Soviet Union and the United States were high. Mutual mistrust and fear drove the
need to assure citizens of their safety and protection. Both countries relied heavily on
military prowess such as submarine technology, the main setting in this novel, to
show strength. Jack Ryan, an analyst for the CIA, symbolizes the American patriot.
He uses logic and understanding of military history to determine that a Russian
submarine is trying to defect, while others in the U.S. government believe the
Russians main intent is to attack. Marko Ramius, the Captain of ... Show more content

possibility of war. Jack Ryan comes to the conclusion that Captain Ramius is trying

becomes a rapid game of chess to see who will get to the Red October
Why Do Aliens Invade
When aliens invade, it s predicted in the apocalypse that men s hearts shall fail
them for fear, and (Conspiracy theories), as a result, are to cover what is coming,
they plan to rob the world. The world has summoned back the gods (aliens), one
example of summoning is an outstretched tongue. Intentionally protruding the
tongue represents the union of masculine and feminine spirits. This action invokes
the demonic spirits of transgender and the she males. The tongue protruding gives
these demons permission to come into the world or church. Inconsequential this is
why we have transgender and the she males. When Aliens invade, they will have
broken no laws and will be free to take over our planet, even though it will be a
forcible act. We will not defeat them. Their planet is their spacecraft, and they make
up part of the spiritual realm, the invisible world around us is a world of the ancient
dead in at war with us. Thus, aliens are after your sons and your daughters and you,
they hate us all and blame all mankind for their woes with vengeance. They plotted

Essay On Funeral Hair
What To Wear To A Viewing And Funeral Home Feed Tips by lela April 14, 20160
Funeral is never a welcome visitor, but there naturally comes a time when you must
say a final farewell to someone you care about. While tradition requires that you
should dress up and wear black to a funeral, it can be difficult deciding what to don
for the funeral home wake. But with some planning and understanding of the
accident, you can show up to pay your respects looking tasteful and suitable. Suits
Although a jacket is not required for affliction, it surely is not over dressing. A
skirt suit or pant suit for women and a suit, sport coat or blazers for men are
appropriate devices. Jeans can be a close call. If you wear them, choose a dark
style with minimal, if any, decoration. Pair them with a dress shirt or blouse and a
jacket, or a sweater and necktie, for a polished look. Dressier footwear is better to
casual and athletic shoes; closed toe pumps for women are a reasonable choice. All
Black what to wear3 It s too soon to look so sullen. The bereaved are trying to stay

You don t want to come across as if you don t care about the dead person or the

The Great Depression Of A Mockingbird, By Harper Lee
Privilege plays a major role in the novel To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee. Set in
1930 s during the great depression in the southern part of America where racism is
predominant and still is in some parts of the world, portrays the lesson of Privilege
is real from race to baking cakes. Sometimes you re born into it, and sometimes you
re born with it . The bitter reality of this lesson is that it still exists and is hard to
come to an end.
First of all according to the novel the author s point of view on privilege is that
sometimes you are born with privilege such as race tackles the law of life, if you are
born white you have more power, facilities and benefits then if you were to be born
black. For instance, as stated in the novel innocent Tom Robinson is pleaded guilty
and falsely accused of raping Mayella Ewell because he s black. Atticus explains
this to Jem by saying, Tom Robinson s a colored man, Jem. No jury in this part of
the world s going to say We think you re guilty, but not very on a charge like that. It
was either a straight acquittal or nothing. (Ch. 23.pg 219) To Maycomb Tom is seen
weak and disgrace to the neighborhood. Everyone is convinced to the belief that any
black African Americanis responsible for a crime against a white. Even the justice
system is unfair; the all white jury favors white over black. Secondly, status depicted
through the novel is something you are born into and is also a reason behind
privilege because if you are

I believe that the United States should perform one year of community service by
the age of 30. The reason why i think that is because i think it would help people
understand eachother and bring us all closer together in many ways. One way is
that it would pay good so there would be less homeless and less people fighting to
feed there families. I believe that kids and odulats would be more thankfull and
respectfull for what they have and try harder to become something after they see what
they can do. If the United Statesdid follow through with this it would help and make
the United States a better and stronger country, by offering us citizens with nice jobs

Life And Tedious Work Of The Chimney Sweepers Of Jane...
After reading the article by Roy Adkins on 13 Reasons Why You Wouldn t Want to
Live in Jane Austen s England , I have an altered idea on what life was like for
people living in that time. From dodgy dentistry to spotty surgeries, times in Jane
Austen s life were much more difficult than they are today. Nonetheless, I became
interested in the life and tedious work of the chimneysweepers. With how chimney
sweepers of Jane Austen s time had to sweep soot caught in the chimneysas well as
battling injuries and death along the way, this is their story. All year long, coal was
used to heat up water and cooking varieties of food. A build up of soot in chimneys
became apparent. This became a problem because soon the soot inside the
chimneys would catch fire and the house would be engulfed in flames. Since there
was no indoor plumbing and the closest water source would be a well in the
garden, pump in the street, or a nearby stream, by the time you grabbed your
bucket got your waterand ran to your house, there was a good chance it was gone.
This is where the chimney sweepers came into effect. Small girls and boys climbed
to the tops of the chimneys and cleaned with hand brushes and scrubbers until their
heads popped out the top, signifying that they were done. On average it took forty
five minutes to an hour to fully clean ones chimney. Masters were in charge of the
young chimney sweeper s food and housing. Sounding easier than it really is, the
chimney sweepers had bigger
Power Rangers Research Papers
Dean Israelite s Power Rangers movie is a tediously paced heavy handed attempt at
rebooting a franchise that was better left alone.
Summary
The film starts off centering around Billy (RJ Cyler), who is longing to finish a
project his late father started concerning an energy source at the base of a
mountain in Angel Grove (his hometown). He makes friends with Jason (Darce
Montgomery), who he meets in Saturday detention and they agree to meet up later
that night. The deal was Jason would drive him to the site of the mountain in
exchange for Jason getting some help with his pesky house arrest bracelet he now
has to wear. They eventually make it to the location only to learn that some of the
same teens who have detention on Saturday night apparently like hanging out at a
random mountain on Friday evening. We have Kimberly (Naomi Scott) a
cheerleader who has been ostracized, Trini (Becky G) a confused young girl who
thinks she is gay, and Zack (Ludi Lin) the bad boy, all seem to be up some
shenanigans. Things quickly take a turn when they hear an explosion and realize
that it was Billy who causes it (apparently he brought some dynamite with him).
Amongst the rubble, the team discovers some power coins, and some new found
super powers. Little do they know that they set in motion events that will lead to
them coming face to face with the projection of an alien named Zordon (Bryan

Steamboat Willie
On November 18, 1928 Walt Disney released an 8 minute animated cartoon called
Steamboat Willie which starred the iconic Mickey Mouse. The cartoon starts off with
Mickey Mouse piloting a river steamboat while whistling Steamboat Bill which
became a very popular song after the cartoon aired. Then, Pete is introduced as the
real captain of the boat and pushes Mickey off the wheel. Disney was having
trouble with finding the right character people would enjoy to watch but the trouble
was gone after he released the cartoon. The name Mickey Mouse actually came from
Disney s wife, he originally wanted to call him Mortimer but his wife suggested

Wilfred Jackson s mom, who taught music, suggested the use of a metronome. He
then created a chart he called a bar sheet or exposure sheet, which had out the
sound effects and music to go along to the animation. Walt then had to test his
theories, he decided to make a test scene so he set up a projector outside a window
in his studio. Behind the bed sheet screen were the artists watching the cartoon
through the sheet and playing the simple sound effects, synchronized with what
they were seeing. The audience was the staff s wives and the feedback was great.
This was a major event in the 1900s because it changed the way producers made
cartoons. The music was arranged by Wilfred Jackson and Bert Lewis, the cartoon
had a really popular song named, Steamboat Bill and it was composed by baritone
Arthur Collins. The cartoon was such a hit that later in 1935 it was released in
color and along the way Disney started to introduce the characters, Minnie Mouse,
Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. Therefore, merchandising started to rise. One of
the best sellers was the Mickey Mouse book which had sold 2.4 million copies. There
were many other different items being sold like, Mickey Mouse watches, Mickey

The History Channel Series Of Wild West Tech
The History Channel series of Wild West Tech has a total of three seasons, each
episode containing and focusing on a major aspect of the American West. This
particular episode, episode nine of season one, discusses the tactics, technology,
and general information of the Native Americans. It explores the weapons and
tools used by the Native Americans as well as the Whites. This episode also
discusses the stories, wisdoms, and traditions of Native American warriors and
leaders such as Red Cloud, Crazy Horse, and Quanah Parker. A major battle
mentioned and explained in the film was the battle of Little Big Horn, a battle
which determined how the west was won, and/or lost. Native Americans were very
skilled at turning the simplest of materials into the most effective and deadly
weapons of all time, and they got a portion of their materials from trade and raiding
the white settlers on their land. In the last half of the 19th Century, the Lakota,
Cheyenne, and Arapaho were fighting to keep their original homeland, from the
western borders of Iowa and Missouri to the Rocky Mountains, and from the
Canadian border all the way down to Mexico. In the fall of 1866, the war reached
Chief Red Cloud. On the Bozeman Trail, the US Army built three forts, scaring
away the buffalo on their main hunting zone. To drive the whites away, Red Cloud
and his Lakota tribe used bows and arrows made from the wood of ash and hickory,
and animal tendon for the bow strings. The heads of the arrows were
Reflection On The Indian Boarding School Gathering
I was able to attend the Indian Boarding School Gathering conference at the Turtle
Mountain Community College. Listening to the stories, you could really feel the
affection and how it affected our elders. I was saddened to hear the many awful
stories about how our people survived this terrible event, let alone how the children
had to grow up. However, according to the stories, there was both good memories and
bad. As I recall Mrs. McCleave mentioning, the saying Kill the Indian and save the
man , was from the federal government. This was Pratt s motto. It was stressed that
civilizing the Indians by teaching them English, and then converting them to
Christianity and allowing them to trade. Pratt also trimmed Indians hair and

Even though I ve heard the brutal stories before, I never understood anything about
the Catholic Church. After this conference, I understand the emotional roller coaster
that comes along with the church. The beatings, rape, sexual assaults all liberally
come back to each survivor. All the feelings that they were feeling, the hurt they went
through, the loneliness, and the heartache. They can t just brush it under the rug.
Although they may feel broken, they are warriors for overcoming everything and
remaining strong. Children were not able to speak their native tongue, or wear their
clothing attire that they came with that was related to their Native culture. They
really wanted to make all native children white. Boarding schools have left a huge

Map Analysis on Education Center in McNabs Island Essays
The main function of these maps is identifying the area that is suitable for building
an education center on McNabs Island. I divided my analysis maps into three parts
which are slope and geology, environment and cultural sites, and microclimate. For
the slope and geology map, I combined the slope, bedrock and surficial geology
together because I think all of them can majorly determine and describe the
topography. Bedrock and surficial geology are the materials that are under the
ground. They might form different topography by the geological action including
weathering and eroding processes. Also, the slopes can decide whether the land is a
plain or a hill. Furthermore, I think slopeand geology can risk of the environmental
hazards like... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I think it can be the next consideration to think about the land development because
human comfort is important for people to live. For my final synthesis map, I just
combined all of the information from the analysis map except the bedrock geology
to show where the best place on McNabs to build the education center is. The
reason that I do not add the bedrock geology because I think the education center
would not be a skyscraper, and it might only have four or five floors height. So, the
foundation might not touch or influence the bedrock. In addition, I add viewing
location to my synthesis map. The reason is that I think the education center is the
place to educate and to visit the island. So, a good viewing location is necessary.
From the synthesis map, you can see there are some suitable to unsuitable places
for the land development. Overall, there is approximately 70 percent of the land
suitable for development with caution. For example, people should consider what
kind of slope it is like the steeper slope always has a high risk of mudslides, and
what kind of surficial material it is like tills are more stable than coastal sediments.
Moreover, there is over 20 percent are suitable for development. Most of them occur
around the coast. The reason is the coast has unstable materials that is risky to do the
construction. Also, the coastal area are risky
Role Of Pharmacy In Pharmacy
Pharmacy as a profession plays a very important part in the overall wellbeing of a
patient. This is an occupation that deals with the administration and pharmacology
of medications. A pharmacist is part of the team that ensures that a patient is
nursed to full health, thereby improving the quality of life. I was twelve years old
when I decided that whatever occupation I end up doing, I will be positively
impacting the health of people. I made this decision one summer after school just
let out when I got inflicted with typhoid. I was very upset not just because of the
severe pain, but also because I couldn t go out and play since the illness didn t
seem to be dissipating even after a few days. It is common practice in Nigeria for
people to self medicate with drugs like Paracetamol and Panadol. This is because
hospital bills are very expensive and treatment doesn t begin until payment is
made. Therefore, my mom administered these painkillers to me for the first couple
of days although my condition continued to worsen. Finally, we went to the
hospital where I was diagnosed with typhoid and directed to a pharmacist. A few
days after taking the medications given to me by the pharmacist, I started feeling
better. This just goes to show that a doctor s job is incomplete without a pharmacist.
There have also been other instances where I have marveled at the wonder that is
medicine. For example, when my mom got diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and it
wasn t an issue so long as she

the world s greatest armadas of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, offering clients the

Roughly three million customers are served in the 1,200 restaurants in the UK daily

McDonald s, two very different companies, in the oligopoly market structure and
monopolistic market structure respectively both have their own unique way in
running their businesses. In an oligopoly market like Emirates airlines, there are
few enough firms to create barriers to be raised against the entry of new firms
(Sloman, J. et al, 2010). Firms like Emirates Airline, Qatar Airways and British
Airways are the few firms that dominate the market by providing flights
domestically and internationally so it would be hard for new firms to enter the
market as they would need a large amount of capital to be able to purchase new
aircrafts and hire experienced pilots to bring up the name of the company. They may
also collude to change prices of air tickets which makes them price makers. Emirates
embraced the methodology of dynamic pricing which helps
Sylvia Plath s The Bell Jar, And Her Other Works
I desire the things which will destroy me in the end (Goodreads). In Sylvia Plath s
final days, the things she desired, did in fact annihilate her. Sylvia Plath desired
perfectionism and the need to feel like she acquired a meaning. As interpreted in
the novel, The Bell Jar, and her other works; Sylvia Plath parallels her own
traumatic path throughout her life and her downward spiral during the 1950s,
explaining her struggle with her mental suffocation and the inexorable depression
that contaminated her mind. Sylvia Plath s emotional turmoil began at a fairly
early age; from the time of her father s death, to her inability to form a meaningful

Designing A Product, Brand, And Service Unique
A differentiation strategy is the efforts to make a product, brand, or service unique
as compared to all other competitors, hence providing a competitive advantage
(Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 219). There are several key skills and resources that
managers should be cognizant of in order to build and base their positive
differentiated strategy. The following essay will expand on these topics which
include skills and resources, as well as, organizational requirements.
To begin with, skills and resources as well as organizational requirements of Apple s
differentiation comes from the organizations core skills which includes the ability to
make easy to use software, integration with other platforms such as iTunes, creative
talent/skilled labor, and a sleek simple design (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 220).
Another organization, Nike, has a differentiation strategy that resides in the company
s brand, its long tradition in the industry, its partnership with elite professional
athletes, and a strong coordination of functions in the value chain from R D to
product development to advertising/marketing (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 220).
There are a few risks associated with evaluating a differentiation strategy that a
manager should be aware. First, imitation limits apparent differentiation, rendering it
worthless (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 221). For instance, when Apple came out with
the tablet there was an extreme differentiation, however, with the imitation
developments
Importance Of Astronomy In Mesoamerica
Astronomy, the branch of science which studies space, celestial objects, and the
physical universe as a whole, is the eldest of all natural sciences with the documented
history dating back to the beginning of ancient civilizations. The use of astronomy
originated in the Middle East as the theological foundation of their civilizations,
however, it quickly became common across many cultures in several continents
partially due to its wide range of interpretations and that the sky and specifically the
sunhave major implications on all beings regardless of location. One region where the
use of astronomy became particularly prominent was in Mesoamerica.
The observation of the sky was of immense importance to the civilizations of
Mesoamerica. Mesoamerica, the geographical region from northern Central America
to central modern day Mexico, was primarily comprised of three major civilizations:
the Olmecs, Aztecs, and the Mayans. The latter of whom had the most notable effect
in terms of astronomy, both during their existence and afterwards.
The Mayan people occupied the southern portion of Mesoamerica from 1800 BC to
1500 AD during which they grew into one of the most advanced civilizations,
constructing massive temples, pyramids, and sculptures centered around the central
theme of astronomy. The Mayans were the only pre Hispanic civilization in
Mesoamerica with a well developed culture, advanced written language, and
understanding of advanced architecture, mathematics, and
What Is Elizabeth I s Pragmatic Plan
Throughout modern European history, Elizabeth I s pragmatic reign over her
nation, Bismarck s aggressive yet sly tactics to unify Germany, and Hitler s
expeditious rise to power and its continuation show the development of politics
from Machiavelli s The Prince. With England torn apart by religious unrest brought
about by Henry VIII, Edward VI, and Mary I, Elizabeth I employed a pragmatic
plan during the 1500s in order to bring about peace. In introducing a religious policy,
she devised a compromise between the theological beliefs of Protestantism and
Catholicism. Firstly, she adjusted her predecessors title of the only supreme head of
the church to only supreme governor of this realm (Spielvogel 407). Though the
alteration did... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Mary was the monarch of Scotland, the Calvinist nobles deposed of her, and
she fled to England for safety (Spielvogel 408). Since she was the daughter of
Henry VIII s sister, Mary held a legitimate claim to the throne after Elizabeth. In
fact, many Catholics saw Henry s second marriage to Anne Boleyn as improper,
making Mary the more fitting queen for England (Sifakis 1). Seeing opportunity in
this woman who had no intention of altering her faith, the Catholics plotted to
place her on the English throne (Black 68). They took part in many failed
assassination plots on Elizabeth, one of them being the Babington Plot of 1586.
This nefarious plan held Mary s controversial involvement, leading to her trial,
conviction, and execution (Sifakis 2). With a resolve to end the threats to her
regime, Elizabeth ended her cousin s life through a beheading (Spielvogel 408).
Both Elizabeth s decision to get rid of Mary and the construction of religious
compromise were Machiavellian because of her pragmatic way of thinking to ensure
a successful reign. Elizabeth s religious settlement was practical because it ignored
moral values, displaying itself as a Machiavellian plan. By creating an Anglican
religion based on compromise,

Human beings have had an odd relationship with magic. For most of our history,
we ve been executing those suspected of having otherworldly powers and there are
some parts of the world in which illusionists and magicians are still put to death;
which, in a weird way, is sort of a testament to their ability. The western world
became a safe space to perform magicabout 200 years ago, which opened the doors
for the great magicians of history, such as Harry Blackstone Sr., Siegfried Roy, and
Harry Houdini, who is considered by many to be the single greatest illusionist of all

Larkin is a misogynist who hates marriage and children. Discuss how far you agree.
I agree with this statement to some extend but not fully. I think Larkin can come

Also I think that by saying he hates children and marriageis too much of a strong
statement and perhaps he personally never chose to do these particular things in

way he presents women as just objects for the purpose of men. For example in the
poem For Sidney Bechet he writes sporting house girls like circus tigers (priced far
above rubies) which is perhaps referring to wild prostitute women who have been...

He describes the dresses and the cheep fabrics of nylon and fake colours lemons
mauves and olives and from the way he uses foods can be interpreted to have a
significant symbolic meaning in the sense that these organic foods become out of
date in time, which could be suggesting he has a bitter opinion on marriage that it
will soon become dull over time and never last. In the penultimate stanza he writes
how none thought of the others they would never meet or how their lives would all
contain this hour he really expresses Larkin s view on marriage and commitment,
as he appears to feel that marriage limits chances and options it also raises the
question as to whether he feared marriage and the change it could have on his life
and freedom. This would suggest that as opposed to hating marriage Larkin merely
feared it. The line sun destroys the interest of what s happening in the shade
metaphorically could be interpreted to show how fabulous display of a wedding
can destroy or distract what happened out of view from the public like the stress,
disputes and reality of faults in the relationship. The imagery of the sun also creates
a bright beautiful link with weddings that people see on the surface juxtaposed with
the reality of dullness as the years go on. In the poem Self s the Man he portrays Man
to be more superior to women. His opinion of love s initial excitement contrasted with

Common Rail Direct Injection
INTRODUCTION
CRDi stands for Common Rail Direct Injection meaning, direct injection of the fuel
into the cylinders of a diesel engine via a single, common line, called the common
rail which is connected to all the fuel injectors.
Whereas ordinary diesel direct fuel injection systems have to build up pressure anew
for each and every injection cycle, the new common rail (line) engines maintain
constant pressure regardless of the injection sequence. This pressure then remains
permanently available throughout the fuel line. The engine s electronic timing
regulates injection pressure according to engine speed and load. The electronic
control unit (ECU) modifies injection pressure precisely and as needed, ... Show more

These systems have a fuel injector for each cylinder, usually located so that they
spray right at the intake valve. These systems provide more accurate fuel metering
and quicker response.
DIRECT INJECTION SYSTEMS
Direct injection means injecting the fuel directly into the cylinder instead of
premixing it with air in separate intake ports. That allows for controlling combustion
and emissions more precisely, but demands advanced engine management
technologies.
Unlike petrol engines, diesel engines don t need ignition system. Due to the inherent
property of diesel, combustion will be automatically effective under a certain
pressure and temperature combination during the compression phase of Otto cycle.
Normally this requires a high compression ratio around 22 : 1 for normally aspirated
engines. A strong thus heavy block and head is required to cope with the pressure.
Therefore diesel engines are always much heavier than petrol equivalent.
The lack of ignition system simplifies repair and maintenance, the absence of throttle
also help. The output of a diesel engine is controlled simply by the amount of fuel
injected. This makes the injection system very decisive to fuel economy. Even
without direct injection, diesel inherently delivers superior fuel economy because of
leaner mixture of fuel and air. Unlike petrol, it can combust under very lean mixture.
This inevitably reduces power output
High School Bacteria Experiment
In this experiment, we wanted to investigate which surfaces in the school had the
most bacteria, and we thought that the surfaces used more would have the most
bacteria. For this experiment we used agar plates, cotton swabs and distilled water
in order to see how much bacteria was on each surface. Cotton swabs were wet
with distilled water and then the swabbed ws wied on a 2 inch space of the surface
and twisted to cover the entire swab.once we swabbed the surface, we wiped the
swab on the plate in a zigzag motion holding it upside down. The girls bathroom sink
handle had 389 bacteria, and the boys bathroom by the football field had 0. We saw
that places commonly used such as the bathroom sinks, doorhandles and railings
contracted the most bacteria.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Things that are used commonly by students and staff should be routinely disinfected
to ensure the health and safety of the people using the provided materials. Bacteria
is related to disease (American Association for the Advancement of Science, 1885)
Previous studies on the surface of a high school telephone showed that the phones
had an uncountable number of bacteria colonies (Yalowitz, 2003). We know that
surfaces used by the public often become contaminated because of the bacteria on
peoples hands. A study on the bacteria on peoples hands showed that 28% of people
have fecal matter on their hands (Judah, 2010). A study done on the contamination on
public doorknobs showed that over 86.7% were contaminated (Nworie, 2012). This
experiment was to show us how much bacteria is on the surface of the things we use
Science Fair Project Report
This year, for my Science Fair Project I plan to do a study on how varying system
parameters affect the dynamics of a multi tank liquid level hydraulic system. The
purpose of this type of system is to maintain a constant fluid flow. In order to
maintain this fluid flow the tanks have to preserve a certain liquid level, this
necessary level depends on the other variables. My system will consist of: an
inflow valve, the tanks, valves to go between the tanks, and an outflow valve. I want
to do this experiment because about two years ago, when I was in the seventh grade,
I did a science fair experiment where I tested how changing the variables in a mass
spring damper system affected system response. In that experiment, I changed the
amount of mass,
Cause And Effect Essay On American Idol
On June 11, 2002, the world watched as a new leader in the genre of reality TV was
born. American Idol was something fresh and exciting, the opportunity of a lifetime
for many. On American Idol, contestants from all ages and socioeconomic
backgrounds auditioned for a chance to Go to Hollywood! This audition would not
be a small feat though; they were up against serious talent from across the country
and around the world and critiqued by music industrysavvy, seriously sarcastic
judges like Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, Nicki Minaj and Mariah
Carey.
Contestants who were talented enough and owned their style and the stage moved on
to Hollywood and competed in a series of group and individual competitions.

Treatment of Madness in The Bell Jar and The Yellow Wallpaper
Mental illness and madness is a theme often explored in literature and the range of
texts exploring these is tremendously varied. Various factors can threaten a character
s sanity, ranging from traumatic events which trigger a decline to pressure from more
vast, impersonal sources. Generally speaking, writers have tried to show that most
threats to sanity comprise a combination of long term and short term factors the
burning of the library in Mervyn Peake s novel Titus Groan precipitated Lord
Sepulchrave s descent into madness, but a longer term problem can be discerned in
the weight of tradition which caused him to worry that with him the line of Groan

Esther Greenwood s initial response is to withdraw she tries to protect herself by
severing her emotional connection both to the outside world and also,
increasingly, herself. In various places Plath is describing scenes which would
normally be repulsive and gruesome the language used, however, is clinical and
cold and gives the reader the impression that the narrator is failing to respond
emotionally to what she is observing. In describing medical specimens of preserved
foetuses Greenwood says that The baby in the first bottle had a large white head
bent over a tiny curled up body the size of a frog. There is no comment made on
this or similar descriptions that follow until the next paragraph when she confides
that I was quite proud of the calm way I stared at all these gruesome things . This
response is almost childish and flippant in tone and does not rest easy with the
horrible sites that she was seeing (and Plath implicitly admits this with the worlds
gruesome things ) nevertheless the tone of the comment emphasises the block that
she is placing between herself and disturbing scenes. The very structure of the
writing emphasises this the position of the comment at the start of the next
paragraph creates a break in the flow of the writing and emphasises Plath s
disjointed emotional state. Other episodes reiterate this. When Greenwood first sees
Buddy Willard naked we would expect her to have either a passionate response

Example Of An Exploratory Essay.pdf

  • 1. Example Of An Exploratory Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of "Example Of An Exploratory Essay" poses a unique set of challenges for any writer. The intricacies lie not only in understanding the fundamentals of exploratory essays but also in effectively demonstrating those principles through a well- structured and engaging composition. Firstly, an exploratory essay requires the writer to delve into a topic, investigating multiple perspectives and potential solutions without necessarily presenting a definitive conclusion. This demands a thorough understanding of the chosen subject matter, as well as the ability to critically analyze various viewpoints and arguments. Additionally, maintaining a balance between exploration and coherence can be challenging. The essay must flow seamlessly, guiding the reader through the author's intellectual journey without losing clarity or becoming disjointed. Finding the right blend of depth and accessibility is a nuanced task that demands a keen awareness of the audience's expectations. Furthermore, selecting an appropriate topic for exploration adds another layer of complexity. The chosen subject should be broad enough to allow for diverse perspectives but specific enough to maintain relevance. Striking this balance requires careful consideration and research to ensure the essay remains focused and engaging. In the process of writing an exploratory essay, grappling with the uncertainty inherent in the exploration itself can be daunting. Unlike argumentative essays that aim to persuade, the exploratory essay seeks to illuminate and understand, making it crucial for the writer to navigate through ambiguity with finesse. In conclusion, composing an essay on the intricacies of exploratory essays is no small feat. It demands a combination of research skills, critical thinking, and effective communication to create a piece that is both informative and thought-provoking. For those seeking assistance with similar essays or any other writing challenges, a resource likeHelpWriting.net can be invaluable in providing guidance and support. Compatibility between company mission statements and direction. What are you trying to do? What are they trying to do? If they relate closely, you have the first element. 2. Beneficial economies of scale. If you will be larger, will you truly be better? Some larger companies cannot respond as quickly to market changes due to their size and the challenge coordinating new directions to employees. Economies of scale are not always beneficial, so make sure you can quantify that having more of one direction is what you want. 3. Cultural synergy. If one company s culture is jeans, foozball machines, cut throat hiring/firing, and shoot from the hip decision making and your company requires process and forms for most activities, good communication and values employees highly (no layoff policy), you may have a

Roasts went from being innocent fun to making a mockery of a celebrity. Even though the Puritans used the scaffold to generate a mockery of a plebeian, it still happens today. When Hester was on the stage the townspeople scorned her for her mistake. It was stated by Regier et al., (1993) that a national survey showed over 1.5 million individuals in the United States using self help groups to overcome their drug abuse (Drug use and abuse, 2011, p. 373). Literary Analysis Of Migraine By Twenty One Pilots Migraine Migraine, while it s usually known as gloriously painful headache, ask a teenager and they will presumably say it s a hit song from the Ohio based synthpop, rap rock, indie rock, and yes even reggae, band Twenty One Pilots. Underneath the techno beat and flying piano notes, are lyrics with a profound meaning. The excellent lyricist, Tyler Joseph, in a spit fire fashion, confronts many prevalent feelings and struggles. Within the song, Tyler Joseph defends himself from his brain, that keeps sending him depressing, and pessimistic thoughts. This song uses many allegories represented by literal images. Essay On Funeral Hair What To Wear To A Viewing And Funeral Home Feed Tips by lela April 14, 20160 Funeral is never a welcome visitor, but there naturally comes a time when you must say a final farewell to someone you care about. While tradition requires that you should dress up and wear black to a funeral, it can be difficult deciding what to don for the funeral home wake. But with some planning and understanding of the accident, you can show up to pay your respects looking tasteful and suitable. Suits Although a jacket is not required for affliction, it surely is not over dressing. A skirt suit or pant suit for women and a suit, sport coat or blazers for men are appropriate devices. Jeans can be a close call. If you wear them, choose a dark style with minimal, if any, decoration. Pair them with a dress shirt or blouse and a jacket, or a sweater and necktie, for a polished look. Dressier footwear is better to casual and athletic shoes; closed toe pumps for women are a reasonable choice. All Black what to wear3 It s too soon to look so sullen. Set in 1930 s during the great depression in the southern part of America where racism is predominant and still is in some parts of the world, portrays the lesson of Privilege is real from race to baking cakes. Sometimes you re born into it, and sometimes you re born with it . The bitter reality of this lesson is that it still exists and is hard to come to an end. First of all according to the novel the author s point of view on privilege is that sometimes you are born with privilege such as race tackles the law of life, if you are born white you have more power, facilities and benefits then if you were to be born black. For instance, as stated in the novel innocent Tom Robinson is pleaded guilty and falsely accused of raping Mayella Ewell because he s black. Atticus explains this to Jem by saying, Tom Robinson s a colored man, Jem. No jury in this part of the world s going to say We think you re guilty, but not very on a charge like that. It was either a straight acquittal or nothing. (Ch. 23.pg 219) To Maycomb Tom is seen weak and disgrace to the neighborhood. Everyone is convinced to the belief that any black African Americanis responsible for a crime against a white. Even the justice system is unfair; the all white jury favors white over black. Secondly, status depicted through the novel is something you are born into and is also a reason behind privilege because if you are

After reading the article by Roy Adkins on 13 Reasons Why You Wouldn t Want to Live in Jane Austen s England , I have an altered idea on what life was like for people living in that time. From dodgy dentistry to spotty surgeries, times in Jane Austen s life were much more difficult than they are today. Nonetheless, I became interested in the life and tedious work of the chimneysweepers. With how chimney sweepers of Jane Austen s time had to sweep soot caught in the chimneysas well as battling injuries and death along the way, this is their story. All year long, coal was used to heat up water and cooking varieties of food. A build up of soot in chimneys became apparent. This became a problem because soon the soot inside the chimneys would catch fire and the house would be engulfed in flames. Since there was no indoor plumbing and the closest water source would be a well in the garden, pump in the street, or a nearby stream, by the time you grabbed your bucket got your waterand ran to your house, there was a good chance it was gone. This is where the chimney sweepers came into effect. Small girls and boys climbed to the tops of the chimneys and cleaned with hand brushes and scrubbers until their heads popped out the top, signifying that they were done. On average it took forty five minutes to an hour to fully clean ones chimney. Masters were in charge of the young chimney sweeper s food and housing. Sounding easier than it really is, the chimney sweepers had bigger

Summary The film starts off centering around Billy (RJ Cyler), who is longing to finish a project his late father started concerning an energy source at the base of a mountain in Angel Grove (his hometown). He makes friends with Jason (Darce Montgomery), who he meets in Saturday detention and they agree to meet up later that night. The deal was Jason would drive him to the site of the mountain in exchange for Jason getting some help with his pesky house arrest bracelet he now has to wear. They eventually make it to the location only to learn that some of the same teens who have detention on Saturday night apparently like hanging out at a random mountain on Friday evening. We have Kimberly (Naomi Scott) a cheerleader who has been ostracized, Trini (Becky G) a confused young girl who thinks she is gay, and Zack (Ludi Lin) the bad boy, all seem to be up some shenanigans. Things quickly take a turn when they hear an explosion and realize that it was Billy who causes it (apparently he brought some dynamite with him). Amongst the rubble, the team discovers some power coins, and some new found super powers. Little do they know that they set in motion events that will lead to them coming face to face with the projection of an alien named Zordon (Bryan Cranston), a robot named Alpha 5 (Bill Hader), and a gold driven villain named Rita ... The cartoon starts off with Mickey Mouse piloting a river steamboat while whistling Steamboat Bill which became a very popular song after the cartoon aired. Then, Pete is introduced as the real captain of the boat and pushes Mickey off the wheel. He then created a chart he called a bar sheet or exposure sheet, which had out the sound effects and music to go along to the animation. Behind the bed sheet screen were the artists watching the cartoon through the sheet and playing the simple sound effects, synchronized with what they were seeing. The audience was the staff s wives and the feedback was great. This was a major event in the 1900s because it changed the way producers made cartoons. I think it can be the next consideration to think about the land development because human comfort is important for people to live. For my final synthesis map, I just combined all of the information from the analysis map except the bedrock geology to show where the best place on McNabs to build the education center is. The reason that I do not add the bedrock geology because I think the education center would not be a skyscraper, and it might only have four or five floors height. So, the foundation might not touch or influence the bedrock. In addition, I add viewing location to my synthesis map. The reason is that I think the education center is the place to educate and to visit the island. So, a good viewing location is necessary. From the synthesis map, you can see there are some suitable to unsuitable places for the land development. Overall, there is approximately 70 percent of the land suitable for development with caution. Designing A Product, Brand, And Service Unique A differentiation strategy is the efforts to make a product, brand, or service unique as compared to all other competitors, hence providing a competitive advantage (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 219). There are several key skills and resources that managers should be cognizant of in order to build and base their positive differentiated strategy. The following essay will expand on these topics which include skills and resources, as well as, organizational requirements. To begin with, skills and resources as well as organizational requirements of Apple s differentiation comes from the organizations core skills which includes the ability to make easy to use software, integration with other platforms such as iTunes, creative talent/skilled labor, and a sleek simple design (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 220). Another organization, Nike, has a differentiation strategy that resides in the company s brand, its long tradition in the industry, its partnership with elite professional athletes, and a strong coordination of functions in the value chain from R D to product development to advertising/marketing (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 220). There are a few risks associated with evaluating a differentiation strategy that a manager should be aware. First, imitation limits apparent differentiation, rendering it worthless (Pearce Robinson, 2011, p. 221). For instance, when Apple came out with the tablet there was an extreme differentiation, however, with the imitation developments

Common Rail Direct Injection INTRODUCTION CRDi stands for Common Rail Direct Injection meaning, direct injection of the fuel into the cylinders of a diesel engine via a single, common line, called the common rail which is connected to all the fuel injectors. Whereas ordinary diesel direct fuel injection systems have to build up pressure anew for each and every injection cycle, the new common rail (line) engines maintain constant pressure regardless of the injection sequence. This pressure then remains permanently available throughout the fuel line. The engine s electronic timing regulates injection pressure according to engine speed and load. The electronic control unit (ECU) modifies injection pressure precisely and as needed, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... These systems have a fuel injector for each cylinder, usually located so that they spray right at the intake valve. These systems provide more accurate fuel metering and quicker response. DIRECT INJECTION SYSTEMS Direct injection means injecting the fuel directly into the cylinder instead of premixing it with air in separate intake ports. That allows for controlling combustion and emissions more precisely, but demands advanced engine management technologies. Unlike petrol engines, diesel engines don t need ignition system. Due to the inherent property of diesel, combustion will be automatically effective under a certain pressure and temperature combination during the compression phase of Otto cycle. Normally this requires a high compression ratio around 22 : 1 for normally aspirated engines. A strong thus heavy block and head is required to cope with the pressure. Therefore diesel engines are always much heavier than petrol equivalent. The lack of ignition system simplifies repair and maintenance, the absence of throttle also help. The output of a diesel engine is controlled simply by the amount of fuel injected. This makes the injection system very decisive to fuel economy. Even without direct injection, diesel inherently delivers superior fuel economy because of leaner mixture of fuel and air. Unlike petrol, it can combust under very lean mixture. This inevitably reduces power output
